I had my son at like 3pm in the afternoon was in labour for 18 hours most of it at home and he was the 9th baby born 7th boy

Hi I was due on the 5th but ended up going in on the 31st. Marcus was born at 12:30 am . He was the first New Years baby in the area!

Hi i'm a Malaysian Mom. My baby was born on 2nd January 09 0600hrs. Went in the clinic at 3am and delivered at 6am. He is my fist baby named Fareez. He was beat by a baby girl who was born few hours before him on the 1st January.

I was originally due Dec. 26th, but was induced at 9AM on the 31st. I did not expect a new years baby. I started pushing at 10PM and continued on until 1:12 AM on the 1st when Solei Martina finally decided to arrive. I live in Duluth, MN and had the first baby in the area. It was a lot of fun. We were on every news station and the newspaper wrote a nice article that was featured on the front page of the local. The hospital also gave us a gift basket,

I had Kacey Jayne at 5.23am so I know where you are coming from. I didnt have the first new year baby but I was the 2nd baby girl of the new year I think. Well Done on ure arrival.

Yay for New Years babies!! :) My daughter was born at 1:54pm Jan 1st/09. She was also the second baby born on New Years day in our town. My water broke at about 2:30am so I got to watch the ball drop from home.

Hi All,

My name is Nicola and I live with my husband and 3 kids in Tonbridge England. My daughter Emily was born at 4.50am on 1st January and she was the first to be born at our local hospital, i beat another lady by 1hour!

Hi I'm Bethany, my daughter was due Dec 27, I ended up having to be induced on January 5. I was the first one in my town to have a baby in 2009. I live in a small town so I guess thats why it took so long.

hi my name is lacey mckim and im from conway, arkansas and i was in the hospital for a week and ended up havin my baby girl jocelyn marine mckim and the 1st at 4:24pm and she was the second baby born in town she was beat by another little girl that was born 30 mins earlier than her that was also 7 weeks premature and had the same problems she did and they were best friends the entire time they were in the hospital cuz they were side by side in the nicu nursery and when one made progess so did the other and the day jocelyn got to come home so did annabel and not only did jocelyn and annabel make a friendship and keep it but me and annabels mother became good friends also! and her family became good friends with my family also and we try to keep in touch as much as possible

I went into the hospital Tuesday the 30th, and had Trentan on New Year's Day at 1:05am. He was the second baby born in town in 2009. Talk about "fame" at the hospital!! Almost all of my family watched the ball drop from the hospital, too... And, we all had plans to go out and have fun!!

I was actually due on the 1st, went in on the 2nd and delivered on the 3rd.... So I just missed it!! Never got to be the first either...lol. ;-)
