My daughter (5 months old) gets her last bottle (7oz) at 8-8:30pm then she is asleep by 9 and sleeps until 7 am the next morning...She gets a bath 2-3 times a week now and even if she didn't have a bath her bedtime wouldn'T change at all...still a good sleeper!

I give my lil boy his bath around 7, and then try to keep him up for awhile until he proves hungry, and then I feed him to sleep. Lately, this has been around 8 ~ 9, but he's still getting up twice a night. Last night he went to bed after 9, got up twice at night, and got back up before 6 am. v.v I wish he'd sleep better at night; I think I need to keep him from napping so much during the day.

HI all, my wee boy is in bed between 6 - 630pm, I put him in bed awake and he goes off to sleep by himself and sleeps through to 730am approx. I bath him each night and after that he seems to know that it is bedtime!!! Think I am pretty lucky on the sleeping front. He is my second baby though and I let him cry a lot more in bed by himself in the early weeks than I did his big sister and think that this has helped a lot!

My baby goes to bed when we do (which is usually 10-11); our bedtime routine most of the time consists of putting pajamas on and nursing in bed, sometimes with a little (15 minutes or so) gentle play if he's not quite ready to sleep. We co-sleep, so it's easy-peasy. He sleeps till 9:30 or 10, and I haven't woken up in the night for three months or so.

My son usually has his last bottle (10 oz of formula, about 3 tbsp. of rice cereal) between 8:30 and 9:00pm. I take him upstairs to change diaper and put him into his pjs. I put him in his crib, turn on his mobile, sounds, and nightlight. No cuddling (he gets plenty during the day), otherwise they never learn how to put themselves to sleep or put themselves back to sleep if they wake up in the middle of the night. This baby is my first thumb sucker and it is great! (I have 3 sons - 5yo, 3yo, 4 months). He is out until I wake him in the morning. I have never let him wake himself in the am, but I should just to see how late he would sleep...the latest I let him go is 9:45am, many times it is sooner because we have to be somewhere.

between 7 - 7.30pm. routine is usually a bath around 6, feeding at around 6.30-7 and then to bed once we know the milk has settled! we don't have play time (except in the bath!) at this time so that she is nice and calm for bed. it usually takes her around 20 mins to fall asleep and she sleeps through to 6.30-7am.

Bath at 6, Bottle at 6.30, in bed no later than 7. Usually takes her about 5 mins to fall asleep and she'll go to 7/7.30. It did take us a while to get here though. It was anywhere between 8 & 9.30 but worked out that if she goes to sleep at seven she not only sleeps longer, but better. And it sets up good bedtime habits as they get older.

Quoting Amber:

I give my son a bath at 7pm and after that it is lotion and pj's he then eats and usually falls alseep while eating if not I rock him a little while then put him in bed by 8pm. His dad usually dream feeds him before he goes to bed around 11 or 12 and then my son usually will get up around 4 to eat and then sleeps till about 7am. If his daddy doesn't feed him then he gets up between 1-2 to eat. I have tried putting him to bed later and he still gets up at the same time so earlier works then I get to pump and prepare for the next day.

This is our routine exactly! How funny.

We start a bath around 6:30pm then diaper, lotion, and pj. We may or may not read a story depending on how hungry or tired he is. We will start the feediing (5oz bottle) at around 7pm, sometimes earlier is he needs it. He will usually go to sleep around 7:30pm and wakes around 5:30am.

Usually 2 tbs of cereal around 7 then clean up and pajamas around 8 breastfeed around 815 and in bed around 845. I would like to add a story in but she is usually too fussy to sit for one so maybe earlier in the day.

Between 8 - 9:30 is the best we can do. Dinner, followed by bath then some nights (like right now) I havr to cuddle her to get her to doze off, other nights I just have to lie her on a blanket on the floor and let her flip around awhile then she falls asleep. Either way though we turn out the lights out and keep things quiet and low key so she knows it's bed time.

My husband loves to talk about routines, but never sticks to one. I would love to put my son to bed by 8, but that never happens. He sometimes falls asleep around 730, but always wakes up an hour or two later. I am at a loss as to what to do.

We try to have her in bed by 9/930 - the routine is based on her last milk time. We usually swing her into sleep but now she's 17lbs and my arms are tired!!! So I switched it up a little: darken lights, feed her, put her into bed, turned on the mobile, gave her the pacifier, and left the room. It took her 20 minutes to fall asleep (watching on video) but she DID it....yayyye!

After the bath his brother goes to bed and then i have time to cuddle/feed him. He goes to bed around 9 and wakes up around 7:30.

My wee girl goes to bed at 6pm, I wake her for a top up (if she hasn't woken up herself) around 10-11 when I go to bed. She will sometimes wake for one feed in the night or sleep thru til about 6-7am for a feed then back to sleep til around 8.30. I'm pretty blessed with a great sleeper, but we did have to use controlled crying method at 7weeks to acheive this...as a result she is much happier and settled,as are we!

My little girl is very difficult to get to sleep only in the evening for bedtime. I give her baths, read stories, and play with her really hard for the hours leading up the bedtime. I feel like I've tried everything. Obviously she eventually goes to sleep, but not without a lot of fussing and backaches (for me of course). We started just going on a walk everynight, that works, but what will I do in the Winter?

I will give my son a bath at around 7:00 and his bottle by 7:30 in the rocking chair with his "sleepy" music playing and then he is asleep in his crib by 8:00 and wakes up around 7am. I played around with his schedule and different times but this one worked best. I usually only give him a bath 2 or 3 times a week but if I don't give him a bath bedtime is still the same.
