my daughter likes to watch mickey mouse clubhouse and special agent oso. They are v.gud it teaches them about colours, shapes and numbers etc. she loves the music on them aswel.

Wonder Pets, Bob the Builder, Sesame Street and Abby in Wonderland (we regularly take this Sesame Street movie out of the library...he LOVES it!)

Sesame Street is the only TV show we put on for our daughter. She LOVES it.... especially Elmo's World.

We do not watch tv (recommend 2 yrs. and up for tv), but I go to the library and check out cd's then burn them and we play those alot. It is usually nursery rhymes and she will dance and sing!

I love Jacks Big Music Show. It is 95% music and very wholesome. I got my son the Praise Baby DVD's and he LOVES them! I know you said you don't have cable, but if you look up Nick Jr, they have great shows designed specifically for young kids. They call it "preschool on TV" so the show are about education, sharing and caring, and musical. You could get a list on line and check them out. Yo Gabba Gabba is cute, too.

My daughter loves Shaun the Sheep, Dora the Explorer and The Wotwots. We started watching them on free tv, then bought a few dvds to keep her happy when they aren't on. Her favourite of the three is The Wotwots.

If you have hbo my son loves classical baby even if he is running around like crazy if I put that on he totally mellows out and is enthralled with it. Its a life saver.

My little girl loves The Fresh Beat Band. And she likes Yo Gabba Gabba too but mostly it's The fresh beat band.

I really like the Backyardigans. The episodes have singing and the characters create worlds with their imigination. My 14 month old loves the music.



Another show that my daughter has recently been interested in is the Imigination movers. Very similar to the "Wiggles" but they are more current and a little more funky with their music. Check out Playhouse disney.

Yo Gabba Gabba, Blues Clues, Bear in the Big Blue House, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Dora, and Ne Ho Kai Lan and ANY Laurie Berkner video ( warning you will find yourself singing the songs all the time -- but they are fun!). My son basically loves anything that has people smiling in it.

www.pbskids.org has really great tv shows- Clifford, Curious George, Sid the Science Kid, and a bunch of other shows.

www.sproutonline.com is another good website with good kids shows too.

My son won't watch TV but he will watch some of the music they have between the cartoons on Nick Jr. You can look them up and watch them on Youtube. He loves all the Moose A. Moose songs and Laurie Berkner band songs too.

anything from PBS or Nick Jr is good, they're designed for little ones. in my opinion, Disney, and regular Nick are not are great. mostly money makers.

go to www.NickJr.com they have all the preschool types shows and they teach things, like sharing, feelings, what to do if this or that happens! My son is only 15 months, but he understands things that they teach! I mean granted, I don't sit him in front of the TV all the time, but when I need to do things and keep him occupied a little Yo Gabba Gabba or Backyardians never hurt!

They have about 15 different shows and all of them teach different things! All have bright colors and good music, helps with a childs motor skills. Let me know what you think of it, okay?

mine likes all of those too, we also let her watch dora, blues clues and she loves my sons old teletubbies video tapes.
