Has anyone gone through this with their lil one and how did you deal and/cope with it?
I bought a cool mist humidifier for her room and every once in a while, I go into the bathroom when hot water is running, so that it could be somewhat steamy.
Her coughs aren't as bad as the first day, but it's still there and I feel so sorry for her.

my 11mnth old had croup a few months ago, i just gave him the medicine that the doctor had prescribed and didnt over feed him coz he was vomiting badly after meals and i made him sleep in my bed so i can keep a close eye on him, only lasted a few days.. not too much you can do anyway.

My baby hasn't had the croup (knock on wood), but I got it until I was 10. The best thing for me was to go outside into the cold. Even as an infant my mom would have to bundle me up and take me outside.

yes, Kairi had the croup when she was...7 months old..I believe. Well anyways, you're doing everything you can do to make her comfortable. cool mist humidifier is the best way to go and the hot water idea is great too. those are the things I did with my baby girl and they seemed to help her out a good bit. I also have that soothing vapor bath from Johnson's.
