Did anyone else's children cut molars before the rest of their teeth came in? My 14 mos old daughter has 5 teeth (3 top and 2 bottom) and now has molars coming in. This didn't happen with my son. Any thoughts?

my little man is 14months and has recently cut his 7th and 8th tooth
so in total thats about 7.5 teeth (as his 8th is only just appearing)
he has 4 top teeth and 3.5 bottom teeth.
he has also got 2 more top teeth coming through.
and he doesn't take teething well so were having plenty of sleepless nights!! =[

My daughter will be 15 months next week and she has 8 teeth - 4 top and 4 bottom. I am thinking she may be teething again, as she's drooling a lot and chewing on her hand too. Last night she was up twice in the night - which she never does any more. I am really wondering if she is cutting molars . . . but it is so difficult to get a finger in there to see as she might bite me - and OWCH does that hurt! haha

sounds ok to me. i know my babay is going through hell with these molars, two are through one of them this past week came in and now one of her top ones are breaking through.

My daughter had a heck of a time getting any of her teeth, finally she was stuck on three. Then one day about 3 weeks ago I looked in her mouth and she had 2 molars! I was shocked! Then teeth just started popping out all over and she has 11! That's a lot of teeth in a couple of weeks. So I don't think there are any real rules for teeth order...just averages.

My son turned 15 months yesterday. he only has his two bottom teeth. The last couple of nights have been very unusally fussy for him, so I am betting that some more are coming in. He won't let me check. Any advice??

My son is 14 1/2 months and has only two top and two bottom teeth, his bottom molar just finished cutting through but his other three are still making there way through. You can see just a liitle whit from all of them. He isnt bothered at all by them cutting in.

My 14 month old son has 16 teeth (molars included) and he is getting more molars. It's weird because when he was first 'teething' I didn't know he was teething, cause there was no fussiness or crankiness or even drooling. Then bam, 6 teeth all at once, 4 top and 2 bottom (that was at 10 months). By 12 months, he had 16! He LOVES to have his teeth brushed! :)

We have 4 on top and 4 on bottom, then she just cut in molars. It seemed a bit backwards, but I see another front one popping in now. I am sure they will all be in soon enough ;-)

my son is 14 months old and although his teeth started coming through in the right order the last few have been wrong. He got his first two bottom ones at the front (normal) then his front two top ones (normal again) but then got the next two top ones then two top molars then two bottom molars. i just figure they will all come through in their own time!

My almost 15 month old has only had her two bottom teeth. But she is now getting her molars & two more bottom teeth before her top front ones, but they are slowly coming in. I've got 4 girls and they've all been different!!

did everyone have trouble with the molars my lil boy is14 months has 4 top and 4 bottom teeth and has been running temps for 2 days and sqeels if i touch top right in his mouth gp wont do any thing either so im assumig its molars..

my son is 14 months and the same thing is happening... he has 3 on top and 2 on the bottom and now his molars are also coming in before the others... He loves those frozen plastic things and thats what keeps him calm when the pain kicks in so just give it a try

I think that the same is happening with my son. he is 14 months. He only has 2 teeth on the bottom and I know he is teething right now. When I felt his gums, they are swollen at the back and not right next to the two teeth in the front. He's not eating or sleeping well and is so fussy!

At 14 months- JT has 12 teeth and is cutting canines-that will be 16 teeth. He has the first set of molars. Teething is not so bad.......................cranky at times, continuous river of drool. He eats everything!

My son is 14 months and cut his first tooth at 10 months 2nd at 11 months 3rd 3 days before his 1st birthday and his 4th on his birthday. He is now teething again but I have no idea which teeth yet! He is miserable and wants to nurse all the time and is hardly eating anything else ={

My 14 mth old boy had 6 teeth (4 on top, 2 on the bottom) until last weekend when two bottom and 1 canine tooth on top came in. No sign of molars here. My older boy had all his teeth by this point, his molars started coming in at 11 months or so. Some kids get their teeth early, some get them late and its all good.

Hi, This has just happened to my son..... and was thinking the same thing. My son has his front teeth, being 4 top and 4 bottom. But i noticed he has cut his molars too, i asked the GP when i was there and she said its fine. But i was a little concerned too. Hope this helps

Our youngest is 14mths aswell, she cut her molars @ about 12mths (all of them) she now has 12 teeth, 6 top and 6 bottom. It just depends on the child, our first was a poster child for teeth, she got them at all the right times, in the right order... our second, third and forth however have been all over the shop... our third cut all her teeth before she got her canines, it seems that's what's happening with our forth aswell.

i've been wondering the same thing lately. my daughter is 14 months and has 6 teeth (4 top 2 bottom) and it seems like she is going to get her top molars next because i can feel swelling in those areas.

I don't really know what's normal; all I can tell you is how my daughter's teeth came in. My daughter is about 14 and a half months old and she has 8 teeth (4 top and 4 bottom) and she has had them for several months. Now she has 4 molars coming in all at the same time.

My son is 14 months as of yesterday and he has 8 teeth and is now getting both of his molers in. He is having a hard time with them. He never cried with his other teeth but he is so uncomfortable that he is crying and not able to sleep at night. By the way as you can tell from my pic that I am now 9 or 10 weeks pregnant with my second child and doing it all on my own. Is anyone else going through the same or am I on the ship by myself?

My daughter has 6 teeth but nothing else seems to be coming through yet! Good luck w.the molars, i keep hearing those are the worst when they finally cut through...im not looking forward to it!

Not all children are the same.. my daughter is 15 months and has 16 teeth already with another 3 on the way.... I always think the earlier the better.... that pain cant be nice!!!!

Our son is 14 months now and has 12 teeth. 8 are all the way through and the other 4 are errupting now or partially in.
Do babies get major diaper rash or poop lots during teething? He had no problem when his first 8 came through, but they were not molars (which are coming in now).

My son has 4 teeth on top and 4 on the bottom and has been cutting his molars for the last month. He has two on top and two on the bottom coming in. Every child is different really and I wouldn't worry to much.

My girl is going to be fourteen months old in another 2 days. She got her first teeth only at 13 months. But within the same month she got 2 more. Two Upper Teeth, and One Lower and another Lower is on the way.

My baby girl dint have any teeth until 11 months. She got 2 top teeth before bottom and by the age of 13 months she have another 6 teeth cut through in the same time.

My son is 13months ,he has 13 teeth,- 4 top, 4 bottom, first 4 molars and 1 eye tooth has just cut through, he did get his teeth quite early but suffered with middle ear infections alot because of them, but they do come at different times.

My 14 month old has 10 teeth and is currently cutting 3 molars! I'm shocked she isn't crabbier then she is. Poor thing. Some babies cut them later then others. No two kids are the same.
