Is anyone else having this problem? My daughter will not go to anyone else. If someone is holding her and they start to talk she will start to cry. She has been doing this for a month and a half. It is very frustrating because nobody wants to babysit her because she cries the whole time. The only people she will let hold her is me, my husband and my mom. Any advice?

Hi, my son is currently going thru the same thing, altho sumtimes he wont even like being with his dad. He will cry with anyone else and will not stop until i have him in my arms and then will stop straight away. He is fine with ppl at a distance but as soon as they cum too close the bottom lip will start. I love that he has such strong feelings for me but at the same time can be a nussence bcos i need a break sumtimes. Is there sumthing i can do to change these ways or will it pass with time? I would love for him to bond with other ppl in his life but fear this will not happen. Any advice wld b very helpful.

Is she around people alot? My daughter has me, my husband and my brother she sees every day, plus my mom, grandma, aunt, sister in law, mother in law, and etc... that she sees every other day or few days. The only time she doesn't want anyone else but me is when she is sleepy. She doesn't like to be taken out of her car seat or taken from me right when the person sees them. I tell them to make her laugh or smile first and then they can take her. She will then look at me if I smile, she knows its ok. I think attachment is ok for now. Just hopefully not later, hehe

Same here. My son was about 6 months when this kicked in. It will pass.

She just loves you - my niece was the same way - she would cry the whole time she stayed with anyone else. Stranger Danger normally doesn't come along until later - around 8 months I think - but there probably isn't anything wrong - she just loves being around you. Hopefully she will eventually just grow out of it!
