In need of double stroller advice!

I have a 5 month old and a 2 year old.. we got the zooper boogie. It is pricey, but you could look for a used one or we got ours online for $200 less than a new new one.
It was worth the investment to me bc I know that my boys will be able to use it until my oldest is like 6, if he wants to ride that long! The seats are very spacious, its a side by side and it fits through doorways easily. And you can just recline one side and sit the baby carrier right in the seat! Fits perfectly! The thing I didn't like about the gracos was that the kid in back can't see anything, forget about using it at the zoo! And the sit and stands? Garbage. They are way too flimsy to seriously transport 2 children. You'd end up buying a new stroller next year too. The zooper is soo well made. Like, would have paid the $600 for a new one if I hadn't found one on eBay for $360, well!

I bought an australian brand (eventhough I live in South Africa) as I thought is was a very clever design. Its called 'Phil and Teds' but I'm sure they stock it in the states too. It's a single pram but with an optional attachment for a second seat. What I also like about it is that its not made out of plastic! I absolutley love mine! When I researched prams I also liked the Graco Quattro Duo but could not get my hands on one in SA.

Not sure if it matters anymore or not, but we like the Graco Quattro Duo. You can usually find one used off of Craigslist or even a local secondhand store. We tried a side by side jogger since the were cheaper when I was first in the market for it, but now that my boys are 2.5 and 1, all they do is fight in a side by side. I wish I had bought the tandem to begin with. As a bonus, the graco quattro folds smaller than the graco other double. If you are still in the market, I hope that helps.

I dont know where u live but at the krogers in miamisburg they have a board inside the store where the shopping carts are at n right by the candy machines.But i was there today and saw a sign for someone selling a double stroller for 60 dollars or best offer.it u want to go there and get the phone number and that.

i like the Graco DuogGlide. i tried the Sit n Stand and hated it, too heavy and no seat for the older child. w/the DuoGlide, i can manuever w/one hand if i need to.

I have a 2 year old and a 9 month old. We bought the Kolcraft Options Tandem Stroller. It works GREAT! You can switch both seats so that they both face out, both face in, both face front, etc. It also comes with a post attachment that you can use instead of one of the seats that will hook a car seat bucket directly into it (which is great because it fit our Graco bucket). It was about $250 for the stroller. Another bonus is that it actually fits in our compact car, which almost no other double strollers do.
