Hello, my name is Joann Pan. My son was born on January 25, 2009 and his name is Effren Manuen Pan. My husband thought of the name, Effren (pronounced E-Fren). He saw it in a GQ magazine and thought it was unique. So we stuck with it. We had a hard time deciding on a middle name though. Our good friend, Tom (Thomas) suggested his name because he believes Thomas has a nice ring to every name. His best friend's middle name is Thomas. We were sort of convince and agreed it does have a nice ring to it (Effren Thomas Pan) but my husband and I wanted to give our son a Cambodian middle to represent my husband's ethnicity (I'm Chinese). So in the end we decided on my husband's name as our son's middle name thus Effren Manuen Pan.

Hi and welcome,

Those are nice names. Our son is called Aaron and his middle name is Wesley. We've always like the name and chose Wesley while watching a Wesley Snipes movie 15 years ago, so that's how long we've had our babies name...while hubby and I were dating.
