Musical Statues is great if the children are all walking!!! My daughters birthday is on the same day but she isnt quite on her feet yet!! But she loves to dance. so if you can explain to the children they have to be as still as possible when the music stops then its a great game!! play the music to get children to dance the stop it at random intervals and if any children dont stop 'like a statue', then they are out!! The last few dancing should get a prize!!

Agree with the earlier comment also, pass the parcel is also a very good game for this age!! all children in a circle on floor, a prize wrapped up in several layers or newspaper, they pass the parcel around the circle until the music stops, the child that is holding the parcel at the time gets to remove a layer or newspaper!! (i ususally put smaller gifts like crayons or wind up toys in each layer, when the last layer is unwrapped the child that unwrapped is the winner or the prize you wrappe, ie. a book or something along those line!!!

ok even tho i didnt really understand tht much lol il read it again tho... umm party ciy has ALOT of great games... i have pin the tail on the donkey, i also have spongebb octopus game.my sons party is spongebob theme so im going to have a crabby patty staion where the kids can make thier own sndwiches

hi how u going?ive actually got my sons first birthday next week have u got any ideas for me? i know one game he can play, pass the parcel! where u wrap up a present in newspaper then wrap another one over the top of that and keep doing that,u get all the kids to sit down in circle play some music and keep stoping the music on a kid and they open one layer of the newspaper to get alittle present..

ohh...ure son was born in the same day with mine...we will have a party at clowntown...we dnt have a special theme but the room is like jungle so we bounght a monkey costume for him...do u live in sydney?or usa?
