Zander has always been a very prudish child well normally he hates to have his clothes taken off in public, loves being fully dressed but in the past month OMG! he's done full public nudity at nursery and has taken to doing a strip tease on his way to bed.. lol. Today though I have to say takes the cake, I turned around for one sec to place clothes in the washer and when I turned back around he had taken off his diaper, peeded on his "pack and play" (the legs and the floor) then smeared poo on it. Needless to say after cleaning it up and talking to him about it he looked at me with those big blue eyes and grinned trying to be cute. Granted it's extremly funny to think on it now and I have to say I guess he's to the point where he thinks his pack and play is not fun, but has anyone else had this problem?

our 16 month old tries to take of her diaper and i tell her no and divert her attention. she also tries to get her hands in her diaper when i'm changing it and i tell her no and divert her attention. pooping in the tub is enough for me, i don't need her spreading it all over the house or her face.

My little girl has just started undoing her nappy, but I haven't had any artistic treats to deal with yet. LOL. When my neice started doing this at about 20mos we moved her into a training pant which seemed more difficult for her to get off so she usually leaves it on. But I'm thinking it might also be a sign that they know they're urinating because my daughter always seems to do it right before or after a wee. Perhaps its time to consider toilet training. As for nakedness my wee ones wriggle so much at dressing time that if we're not going anywhere they often end up only wearing a nappy anyway. The hard thing is not laughing at their little strip sessions because then they think its a game and keep doing it. But it can be very funny. Especially when they get stuck :P

Jazi is just starting to experiement with undressing herself. A have walked in a few times and found her peeling off her nappy. We have always had some 'bum out' time for half an hour before her bath. (Because I use disposable nappies and she has had some nappy rash I find this helps). She now gets herself ready for her 'bum out' time. A little part of me is sad to see her doing things on her own without me, but most of me is extremely proud. We also use the bum out time to practice sitting on the potty.
