Moms of January babies 2009, Norman is my first and only child so far, and at this stage I am so confident as a neish mommy. If I reflect back on the past 14 months I stand in absolute awe at how my baby developed from this bundle of hopelessness to a running, talking little human, its crazy. We took our son to our beach house this week and boy he enjoyed the sand, sun and waves. Got any stories you want to share. It seems like things are getting easier and the overwhelming feelings of hopelessness(from my side) is slowly dissapearing. I am loving this stage, oh well we shall ee if I am still as optimistic and enthusiastic when the terrible two's strike, but oh well, so far so good. How you doing?

my son will be 15 mths on Easter Sunday and i don't know where the time has gone. im on the fence in regards to how enjoyable this stage of his life is as we are stuck in a bit of a rut n completely exhausted cos Noah is waking at 1.30am EVERY morning and stays up for at least an hour n then gets up between 7 and 8am. Sleeping habits aside im in awe of wot he has learned in the past year n wot he's capable of doin. he said his first word at 7 mths; started walking at 11mths n he is doing something new everyday. he really enjoys going to the play park n to feed the ducks/swans and really enjoys gettin out of his pram so he can walk (reins are the best ever invention) and he loves playin wiv his aunties n uncles (his dad is one of eight children and i'm one of four) and of course his cousins. He is a joy and a torture n i think hes already entered the terrible twos cos my boy can take one hell of a tantrum n unfortunately has my bad temper but we jus ignore him n he stops very quickly.

i absolutely love it too. my little boy will be 14months next sunday and its crazy how much he's learnt in just over a year. he has his own personality and is an absolute little mischief now .. it makes me smiling looking back and thinking how dependent he was on me and now he just wants his own way and practically never stays still!

he's recently learnt how to blow kisses and wave so he's constantly doing that its soo cute. he's also got a new habit of pushing his buggy around in the back garden.

i know it can be a bit of a pain sometimes but i like taking him to work sometimes (i work at mc donalds) and letting him "run" around. its sooo funny when he trys to hold the main door shut and goes around moving chairs. lol. absolutely adore my crazy little boy he's incredible.

I love every minute of this crazy journey. My son is 14 months and it is so crazy how smart he is. I got him some chalk just to see how he does and although it says 4 and up Im not haveing any problems. He loves to go outside after being cooped up all winter and gets such a kick out of drawing with this chalk. He isnt walking et but takes a few steps here and there by himself so its not far away. I wont be able to keep up with him once he does. I am looking forward to teaching him all sorts of new things and Im not worried about those "terrible twos" I think Im not going to dislike anything about watching my beautiful baby boy learn and grow. Glad to hear other moms feel the same.
