hi i have the same problem with my 7 1/2 month old, the mail problem is getting her to sleep as i think she senses its bedtime and mummys not guna be there after a long time cuddling in the evening i put her to bed and she wakes up almost instantly . and screams then also wakes up during the night but i leave her and she goes back off to sleep her self.

i told my health visitor about this and she gave my a harsh sleeping rountine which states to put baby to bed awake and go into her ever 5mins increasing up to 10...15 mu daughter found this very stressfull and i ended up scrapping the idea but i return to work soon and want bedtimes to be easy

i tottaly understand how hard it is

We're not getting into that just yet, but the baby's little bottom lip sticks out and begins to tremble when we put him into the crib. We try to distract him with toys and then sneak out. But, I don't think he's in full blown separation anxiety yet.

yes! i have actually taken the side off the cot(crib) and joined it to my bed so i can put a hand on him or give him a quick cuddle before he gets too upset.

good luck!
