My daughter is the same she still has none an was 8 months on the 2nd of Sept, my son still had no teeth on his first b-day but they say the longer it takes for their teeth to come through the healthier they are as they grow up so its got to be a good thing...

thats funny because my son cut teeth from the time he was two months old until he was five months old and now at eight months he has 6 teeth so dont worry it will come in time and dont rush it cause the earlier they get them the worse mood they are in

Quoting Eva:
Okay LOL. I posted a couple of days ago that DD just turned 8mths, and had no signs of teeth, in fact had gone backwards in the teething signs the last month. Well lo and behold I peeked in her mouth yesterday and two little bottom teeth had poked through the gum line! Just goes to show, they pop fast, one minute no teeth, the second two little teeth. :) And they apparently don't bother her. whew.
lol. thats crazy! hope my little one is tough like that!

My oldest daughter was well over 10 months before she got a single tooth, and honestly she was so old she wasn't fussy at all. My daughter who is almost 8 months old (sept.17th) has 2 teeth, and has been miserable.

Don't worry! Every baby is different. Myoldest cut her tooth late. She is 2 and will be 3 in Nov. she received most of her teeth during the last few months (10-12 mons). On the other hand, my youngest, who is 7mons, got her first tooth ataround 3 or 4 mons and her second at 5mons. Now she just have the two with no signs of getting anymore. Jujst remember every child gets a peggy at their own time. I wouldnt worry!

I'm in the same boat and my son is the same age! He's had fevers, red swollen gums, drooling and chews on everything. But still no teeth! I wouldn't be concerned... every develops at different times. My brother and a friend of mine have kids that are the same age... 13 months. My nephew didn't start getting his teeth until right before he turned 1but my friends kid had 8 teeth and was getting her molars. It's weired how different the development can be. Good luck!

My guy doesn't have any either. But my pediatrician says that the longer they wait to get their baby teeth the better/healthier teeth as adults.

My little girl turned 8 months on the 1 of Sept and still does not have any teeth. Just be thankful they did not come in earlier. My oldest and my niece cut teeth at 5 months. My niece wore a spreader, head gear, and had braces for 8 years because her teeth came in early and therefore came out early and her mouth did not have time to grow to hold her adult teeth. Now my daughter faces the same outlook. She turned 6 three weeks ago and is missing 7 teeth.

Not at all ! Eventhough my son is 7 mos and just got his two bottom teeth, my 2yr old daughter on the other hand, didnt get any teeth until 13 mos old, my pediatrician told me that its genetic that if one of the parents teeth came in late, there childs may as well.

Don't even worry about it. 2 of my kids both started teething right around 3 or 4 months and did not cut the tooth until 10 months. My girl was a very bad teether and it was a very long and painful process and she didn't even finish teething until she was over 3. My boy had mild symptoms and his came through much faster. He is 2 now and only has 1 2-year molar left to cut. To each their own and they say the longer it takes to cut the healthier their teeth will be.

Hi Kelly, i dont think there's any need for you to be concerned... my youngest is 8 months on 14th september & he only just got his first 2 teeth at the same time a few days ago.... they're the cutest little teeth too... but they hurt more aswel when he wants to chew on my fingers. All the best & dont panic, those cut little teeth will be up soon :) x

Y'all be GLAD your babies are cutting their teeth late! My daughter is 8 months old as of today, and just cut her 8th tooth over the weekend!! Yes, 8 teeth at 8 months! Let me just say that I think because she cut them early wasn't the best thing since she doesn't understand the word, "No" too well yet and if she happens to grab one of my fingers and chomps down.....it hurts BAD!!!!! Everything goes to her mouth and I have to be careful with what she chews on because she leaves tooth marks in stuff, like her pacifier which is not too good considering she's chipping the colors off of them. I try not to let her have her paci unless she's sleepy. So be glad they don't have them yet!! They will get them soon enough and once they break your skin for the first time you'll be wishing they still had those toothless grins!

I have twin girls who will also be 8 months on Sept 23rd. One has two teeth and the other has none so I guess they just come in when it is time for them. Eight months was right about the time my older daughter got her first teeth so yours will eventually get hers. Look at it this way, the later they get them the later they loose them.

My son was 8 months old on the second and he still has no teeth and no sign of any. Other than drooling and chewing which he has been doing since he was a month old. I wouldn't worry about it alot of babies don't get teeth until after 8 months his dr told me.

i have Twins and neither of them got a tooth. They are drooling alot and has the symptons as well. I asked our pedetrician and they said not to worry it will come and that some kids are late. Family has said that the later they get there teeth the stronger the teeth are. So look on the upside of things.

My daughter also will be 8 months on Sept 25th and still has yet to cut any teeth!! Just remember all babies are different and your daughter, just like mine, will get teeth when she gets them!! A girl I know, who's son is 2 weeks younger than my daughter rolled & crawled long before Kenya and he just cut his first tooth last week.....so I wouldn't worry!! :)

You can tell by looking at your childs gums..if they are white and swollen the tooth is about ready to come in..some babies take longer then others to get teeth, crawl/walk and talk..these are all done at the babies own pace...I wouln't worry to much. If you ever have question call the Dr. that is what they are there for.
