sick babies (vomiting and diarrhea)

As a first time mom, I am not sure what I should be feeding my son while he is sick. He had diarrhea a couple days ago and today he just threw up. Everybody else in the house has the same symptoms so it was just a matter of time.
He is happy, cheerful and nothing like the rest of us who are begging somebody to kill us.
I can't imagine not giving him a bottle or anything before bed. I know I'm not hungry but I don't know how he feels.
Suggestions?

The dairy will only spoil (formula included) if they are running a fever over 100 degrees. Otherwise, they are fine with it.

Yo Baby yogurt is awesome for babies with diarrhea. It helps them a lot plus giving them some nutrients at the same time. Pedialyte is best if they have a lot of vomiting. Babies are very resiliant and recover so much quicker than we do. When my 2 yr old and my 10 month old had the flu-they were so much more full of energy than what my 16 year old was when she had the flu (and she had it for 2 weeks where they were better in a few days).

What about formula? Do I have to skip giving him bottles?

Make sure he doesnt get dehidrated. Get him some pedialite (its like gatoraid but good for kids) If he does eat any thing other than baby food, don't give him any cheese or dairy products because it will just spoil on his stomache, the same thing goes for juice with alot of acid in it. Even if you are not hungry and think he has the same illness as you, offer him something to eat anyway. He needs to be nurished to fight off the cold.
