Can anybody recommend a brand of sippy cups that don't leak? I have 12 mth old twin girls that I'm trying to transition off of a bottle, but all the brands I bought leak when the tip them over or I find them bubbled out the straw part. Thanks!

oh god bless you. i am a twin...my mother said it was very hard..having one 12 mnth old is anough, i couldn't imagine...back to sippy cups..i have found that Gerber brand is the best at making sippy cups that don't leak. it has a plug on the inside of the "mouth piece" to stop those leaks...i found them @ good ol walmart..enjoy your babies!!!

sorry, I am also putting my 1 year old on them to take him off the bottle, he uses them too with just juice in them, but milk also works in them too.

If you live near a Jamba Juice, they have awesome "sports cups" they have smaller ones for kids, my 2 year old is a juiceaholic and these cups for the past 4 months have not leaked once!! Highly recommend!!

I've had great success with the Nubby sippy cups. (The ones with the rubber like tips.) I havent had any problems with them leaking and my daughter prefers those over her bottle so it has been easier to transition her!

I find the Nuby hardtop ones are pretty good and the gerber ones with the straw in case they tip it upside down ... neither spilled and my son doesnt drink from them(working on it) he shakes them so they have had planty of opportunities for spillage but these sippy cups don't leak

Gerber sippy cups worked for my son when he was one. He made such a mess with so many of the other "spill proof" cups and these really stop any liquid from coming out. But, I've heard of others who say their children don't like them because they think they are too hard for their toddler to suck anything out of. It all depends on your child, they are all differnt, but you'll find on that works for lil one. My daughter who just made the transition loves the Playtex straw non spill cups.

I prefer the cups that have a straw. There area few different ones out there. The straws have a valve that helps with leaks/spills. All cups leak some. We work around this by always supervising when she drinks her milk. Otherwise it's always water in the cup.

I love heinz baby basics, i've had my daughter on them from when she was about 6 months onwards, theyre great and they have different steps to work up your childs knowledge of sippy cups, if you put the stopper in properly they work wonders :) just my advice.

I use the playtex twist and click also. They won't leak, unless the cup lays over for a while, and then it will drip a bit.

We use Playtex Twist & Click. There's an insulated kind, and a single layer kind. The lids and straws are interchangeable. I'd say these are leak-proof, but there's a tiny bit of leak if your child flips the straw cover back and forth. I love these cups!

I have tried Avent and Nuby and they both leak like crazy. It is so frustrating! Don't waste your money on either of those ones!!

Nuby ones leaked like crazy for me - my daughter would bite down on the soft plastic "nipple" and it leaked. I found the ones with a harder spout were better - like Playtex.

Tommie Tippy have some really good sucky cups.The ones Ive found work really well(after a bit of trial and error).These sippy cups dont leak they can be tipped upside down etc.Theres a flip lid attached that covers the spout and has handles on both sides.

My daughter and I both love the playtex locking lid straw cups and then the Fisher Price sippy cups are wonderful! They don't leak for anything and they have a lid. Both are also very easy to drink out of, some sippy cups have a lot of suction and are really hard to get the liquid out of but both of these have a great seal but are easily drinkable. Hope that helps!
