wants nothing to do with crawling but on the verge of walking. he just walks from each side of the couch

Jackson is crawling, pulling up and he sometimes walks while holding on with one hand.

I was talking to on Occupational Therapist yesterday at our local Australian Breastfeeding Association meeting and she was talking about crawling and walking. She said that it is so important to encourage the whole crawling thing and tummy time as it helps develope both sides of the brain which is so important when bubs is old enough to read and go to school.... so dont be to worried about it if your bubs arent walking yet they will do so in their own time

Seth is 9 months and he's not walking or crawling. He can just scooch backwards a little. My older son started crawling at 9 months, so I'm guessing that milestone is just around the corner.

my son has just turned 9 months and walks everywere he started to pull him self up at about 5 months he has done it all on his own and i am very surprised at him doing this as he is so young.....

my little girl is pulling herself to standing on everything and letting go to stand on her own for short periods of time (she thinks this is great fun and gets very excited) then falls down onto her bottom or grabs hold of the thing she just let go again. it's pretty great. she is also walking using a little cart to hold onto and push. otherwise she is crawling everywhere including up steps! we are in full baby proofing mode.

My son is crawling faster than I ever thought possible lol. He will push things around and walk or walk along furniture but not walking on his own and I am in no hurry either I hope he slows down and takes his time.

My son, 8 months 2 weeks, isn't walking or crawling yet. He hates laying on his belly so I am doubtful that he will crawl before he learns to walk. He does scoot around on his bottom and he loves to stand up. He's just not ready to take the first step yet.

my son is now crawling everywhere! He is also pulling himself up and walking round furniture and begining to learn he could climb up things. he seems very confident at being on his feet and i don't think it will be long until he is walking!

Isabella has been crawling since 5months, now she's 9months & 2days but only walking around the furniture not on her own yet

My son is crawling backwards but not forwards as yet, he rocks back and forth when in a crawling postion - its so cute, Im in no rush for him to crawl forward though lol

my daughter is 8 months and has just started walking she crawled at 6 months. my son on the other hand was 9 months crawling and 12 months walking.....

my daughter has been crawling for about 2 months and standing up on everything for 1 month and tries to jump when she lets go not walk.... she likes her jumperoo A LOT, haha.
