I was just curious since we all had babies in the same month...wondering what is going to be popular now. I named my daughter Julia.

We named our daughter Raizel Shaine. Raizel is a hebrew name for a "rose" & Shaine means "beautiful" indeed our daughter is such a beautiful rose! And Raizel is like a junior for Rachel;-)

My little guy is Briton Alexander. When my husband first moved to the US 15 years ago from Scotland the first friend he made was named Brenton (pronounced Briton, and they are still friends today). When he first told me stories about him I said if we ever had a boy I wanted to name him Briton b/c I loved the name so much. We chose Alexander b/c that is my maiden name and thought it sounded great with Briton.

Quoting Alicia:

My daughters name is Austen Aquila the Austen is just something the hubby came up with and the Aquila is for my great great grandmother(whose name was India Aquila, but everyone called Judy!?)

That's so cute that you named your little girl Austen!  Our little boy's name is Austen also, spelled exactly the same!  I didn't want to give him just he plain old spelling so we replaced the "i" with and "e" and I thought I would probably never see that again!

His full name is Austen Reed......Austen is as explained above and the Reed is my mother in laws maiden name!  We were trying to keep some family influence's in the names we picked!

My daughter's name is Madeline Grace. She was born on January 4th.

There are so many beautiful names out there. I picked this only because I liked it - no family connection - and it went well with her father's last name. I didn't know what I was having but I never did choose a boy's name. I couldn't decide and I was pretty sure I was having a girl anyway! (But I did tell the guy who gave me the epidural I would name a boy after him! LOL)

Another Mady Grace, sweet!  Ours is Madelyn Grace and we do call her Mady!

My daughter's name is Elliott Paige. It is one of those names you either like or hate and of course a lot of people think she is male. My name is Sam though so I have dealt with that and don't mind it.

Niall (pronounced Nile, like the river) Jacob. Our older two are Noah Gustave (pronounced gus tove, not the way my side would pronounce it) middle name after his paternal Grandfather's middle and Great Grandfather's 1st name and Naomi Devina (middle meaning coming from the sir-name Devine, my maiden name) . They thought that the baby should have an "N" name as well and I found Niall (Irish form of Neal, meaning the champion) in a Nora Roberts book and Jacob was my Grandfather's 1st name, though he went by George. We wanted different names but not ones they would be teased over..I was one of 8 Michelle's in my elementary school class.

My son's name is Grant Stone DeMaioribus Jones (2 middle names not 2 last names). All my boys have 2 middle names because I wanted my last name to be in there somewhere. FYI I am married just didn't take his name.

Kyle Anthony. Kyle was random, although I am starting to think my husband pulled it from a character on South Park! Anthony is shared by Grandpa, Dad and big bro.

Calvin Harper. We liked Calvin as it's kind of an old-fashioned name. A president's name....(J. Calvin Coolidge) and Harper is my husband's grandfather's first name.
