my baby girl Hailey Kay is 9 months as of 10/26. She is pulling herself up to everything, crawling on all fours like a mad woman! No teeth yet.... she is so close though. She is 24 LBS ( I know, Huge!) She jabbers a little bit but not much.

My little princess will be 9 months on the 31st and she can crawl(rlly fast), sit by herself, eat finger foods, pull up on furniture and walk holding it, she climbs, says mama dada dad byebye baba yaya (she talks all day everyday!), she claps, knows what no means, understands things like "bring that to mama", holds her own sippy cup but refuses to hold her bottle half the time. She is also starting to stand without holding anything.

My son turned 9 mo Oct 26th and he can crawl, sit stand up to just about everything, climb on just about everything, but cannot stand unassisted. Doesn't use sippy cup- gets all needs from the boob, and is still learning to manage foods (doing BLS). He says mama and dada and seems like he hums tunes!

My son turned 9 months on Oct 15! He is in therapy for tortacollis and has had some delays but is catching up he can sit by himself, crawl on knees, pull up, babbles says mama dada Hey there, No and stop, he can hold his own bottle and tries to drink from a sippy he can eat table foods and has both front teeth top n bottom. He is getting help with balance so he will be behind all my other kids when it comes to walking and everything else.

My daughter is 9 months she too can stand, crawl, sit, hold a bottle, walk in a walker, say mama and used to say dada, however she doesn't have any teeth, and has not started finger foods.
I asked the pediatrician why she doesn't say dada anymore and she said when babies find something new to focus on the old stuff isn't interesting anymore but it doesnt mean she can it's just old news. hope this helps

My daughter sits,walks,stands on her own, says mama,has only two front teeth ,eats all kinds of food and holds her own bottle.She also sleeps through the night.She picks up everything from the floor or ground and puts in her mouth.She knows how to identify who the person is when u ask her.She is 9 months 2 weeks 4 days..She dances when she hears music and she loves to smile

I try not to worry about development too much because I know that I would go crazy with the comparing. My son, Donovan, turned 9 months on the 16th.

Donovan sits up, gets on his hands and knees and rocks, pulls himself up to standing, has 2 bottom teeth but the tops are coming in, loves jumping and standing, babbles constantly, says momma but doesn't relate it to me, hold his own bottle and sippy cup, is transistioning to table food, tries to use pincher grasp, smiles and laughs constantly, and is NOT sleeping through the night.

so true that every child is different. my princess is 9 mths on the 24th & i think she is doing o.k. She has been sitting for the last couple of mths, she slides everywhere on her bum but not crawling, she runs in her walker but won't stand or pull herself up. she, will eat pretty much everything, but has no teeth, can pick up small things, will hold bottle, sippa cup & finger food. she says baba, dada,& lots of other noises, loves clapping & dances to music with arms up.Has never slept through the night, wakes at least once to have a bottle. she will wink, blow kisses & cough on demand{very cute}.

My little toots is 9 months 11 days. She sits up and has worked out how to sit by herself, she's crawling/commando crawling, loves standing up, eats whatever we give her, still loves her bottles, holds her own bottles, has a tooth, can pick up small objects easily, is very vocal but not talking, walks in her walker, and we're trying to convince her to drink something other then formula.

my little boys a bit of a slow learner, he's just turned nine months, he can sit up by himself, pull himself up on things and can keep his balance while holding on but cant stand unaided, doesnt crawl at all, doesnt shuffle kneel or anything!! he cant even walk in his walker. he can feed himself finger foods and eats absolutely anything! even though he hasnt got any teeth yet!! says dada and baba quite a lot but only ever said mama once. his dexterity is very good though, he can pick up very small objects easily.

She's moving along just fine :) My son, 8 months 2 weeks, was an early sitter but now he's taking his time with everything else. He scoots around on his bottom but refuses to crawl and he stands up with support. He loves the Gerber puffs but hasn't found out how to get them in his mouth without Mommy putting them there. He has a better time with the Bitter Biscuits which he does a fine job getting himself all messy. He has also said mama and dada and has recently started saying dog but he also doesn't say them all the time. He seems to go through waves. He'll say dada all the time for a week then move to mama for a week and so on.

my daughter turned 9 months on the 8th just starting to crawl really fast everywhere, she pulls herself up on everything including me rolls over alot still sits up by herself from laying on her back and tummy, she waves and claps, holds up her sippy cup, eats lots of finger foods easily and often feeds herself her puree or table foods. shes into everything, and kneeling all the time. says mama and squeals alot and makes lots of other noises but only saying mama. she has her two bottom and two top teeth.

My son will be 9 months on the 13th. He can roll, sit up, crawl, walk, climb, holds his own cup, uses pinching to pick up finger foods, says single sounds (ex: pa, ba, ma), says yay and oof (woof), understands the meaning of no and yes, can understand a sentence (ex: example bring me your cup if you want more water), he has two front bottom teeth and two front top teeth have just started cutting in.

My daughter is 9 months on the 20th and she can sit up (can't get herself into sitting position yet), holds her sippy cup, eats finger foods, stands while holding on to something, says mama dada and pupu (puppy). She hasn't stated crawling yet. She ends up pushing herself backwards and gets frustrated. She is trying to pull herself up and I think she'll just skip crawling. She still has no teeth yet.

My daughter will 9 months on the 21st. She can crawl, sit up, rolls both ways, just stated pulling up, eats finger foods, drinks from a sippy cup, claps, says dada. She knows what no means. Does not like baby food. She doesn not hold her cup yet.

Oh dear :S I thought my daughter was right on track but reading all these makes me worry a bit. She's 8 1/2 months will be 9 months on the 26th she can Sit, Roll around both ways, Has 2 teeth about to get 4 tho, drinks from her sippy cup.. only has 1 or 2 bottles a day she says dad, dada, baba and sometimes says bob even tho I have no idea where she got that from. Eats finger foods and uses pincher grasp and eats all table foods. Knows what "no" and "yes" means, holds her own bottle/sippy cup. She gets up on her hands and knees but no crawling yet :( she can't sit up from laying down or anything like that maybe she's just lazy but she seems right on track with everything else.

My son is 8 1/2 months, he can crawl, sit up, eats finger foods, has bottom teeth and getting a top one, holds his own bottle, pulls himself up onto furniture (no movement yet), drinks from a sippy cup, is learning what "no" means, uses pincer grasp, and sleeps 12 hours a night, and he used to say all kinds of words but lately he just picks one and says it over and over...this week its da-da. I think you're baby is fine and right along where she should be. My oldest is 6 and I can't even remember what she was doing by this age other than crawling. Just remember some babies do focus on other developmental areas more strongly and will catch up with other babies soon enough. My daughter didn't even walk (on her own) until she was about 13 months old, but she was talking! My son I think will be walking in another month or 2 but isn't a talker like she was.

My 8 1/2 mth daughter is sitting,crawling backwards,bum shuffling, kneeling and pulling self up on activity table. i think she will bypass crawling forward. She has 2 little teeth and babbles all day dada mum bubba and loves to clap and laugh. shes 2nd stage foods and eats bits of sandwich and soft cheese etc but still not on most finger foods as she doesnt like to chew. I think ill wait for those extra teeth.

My son will be 9 months on the 15th and he can sit up, crawl, he pulls himself up on everything, he tries to walk but he takes a few steps and then falls, he can says, momma, dadda, papa, doggy and baba, he feeds himself with his hands and a spoon as long as its something that can stay on the spoon... holds his own bottle but likes his sippy cup more. and eats everything you put in front of him he does care if its table food or baby food he just wants it...

Sounds like were all in the same position.... My son... Sits on own... Crawls... Pulls himself to standing position and runs in his activity center (I call it the poop machine cause he poops every time I put him in it)... Eates table foods... has 8 teeth... says mama, yaya and a few others but no official dada yet. He holds his bottle, drinks from a sippy cup, picks up small foods and feeds himself (with fingers of course).



I think your daughter is right on track. I have a friend whos son did not crawl till 9-10 months, and a neighbor whos son did not walk till 13 months.

My daughter is 8 months and 4 days and she can:



Stand, sit on her own, crawl, starting to pull up, has all 6 front teeth, eats actual table food and not all baby food, says dada, holds her own bottle, is weening off of formula (yes i know its really early but the dr says that it happens a lot), can pick up small things with her fingers, and sleeps through the night.



I think that is about it.



Oh and your daughter not talking, I read in parent magazine that they will do this to focus on something more important (i.e.-walking) so it is completely normal. After she masters what she wants to master then, they say, she will blow up with conversation. She has been holding it all in the past however months and will then let it out. Just an FYI!
