I was just wondering what kind of shots a 9mth would get at his next apt. I remember them saying that he will have a 9mth apt and then when I called the apt line for the base clinic, they said that they didn't do 9mth apt or shots.

as far as i knew u dont have anymore shots after 6 mths until they turn 12 months old. my 11 mth old hasnt had any 9 mth shots and neither has my older 2 unless they brought new ones in that i dont know abt the best place to ask would be at medicare if ur still unsure

at 9 months they get no shots. his next shots should be when he is 1 year old. they do them at 2, 4, 6, 12, 18 and 24 months then after that i believe it is either yearly or when they start school. but the flu shot is recommended for all kids especially if he is in a daycare system.

My son is 9month now and the doctor said that my son next shot is when he is 1year old, the last shot he had was at 6month..! It might just be a check up apt.

They don't get shots at 9 months. It is just a check up. I thought they got shots, too, but my son had his appt. yesterday and I was gladly suprised at NO SHOTS! They get their next bout at 12 months.

My son's nearly 9 months, but maybe things are done a little different where I live. We're from the Midlands, UK and all the shots were done by 16 weeks old. His next lot are at 12 months.

If your little one hasn't had a flu shot, they'll likely recommend it and give the first dose (babies get two doses about 4 weeks apart). Our pediatrician doesn't have "scheduled" 9 month vaccinations -- but does routinely do a blood test (a little heel prick) to test for anemia since it's common in babies.

i think it a 12mth apt that they do but do not have an idea for 9mth apt. you can find out from you mid wife or look into the red book all needed to do is there.

My daughter goes tommorrow for her 9 month appt so I will let keep you posted on what they gave her. I know she is getting the influenza shot but definitely NOT the Swine Flu shot.

Yes with my other 3 they gave them the Hep B but with Corbin just hemaglobin and flu shot

we just had our 9mth check last friday. there were no scheduled shots. but my nurse gave me the option of just the regular seasonal flu shot. but that was all. if it werent for the flu shot we wouldnt have gotten a shot at all.

They are suppost to get thier Hep B shot 2nd dose!
