My son is turning ONE on Jan 30 and im not sure what to do for his party. I want to invite a bunch of ppl but my parents house isnt that big. I just dont know what to do in general for his birthday party. What did you do for childs first birthday ??? I NEEDDDDDD IDEASSSS PLEASSSEE !!!!!!! Thanks !!!

Mine LO's bday is the 30th also. We're doing a football theme since it's so close to the superbowl. We rented out a room at a rec center because my house isn't big enough. The room is really cheap ($30) an hour. The 99 cent store has a ton of football decorations out right now too so cheap to decorate also!

My baby's first birthday is coming up January 3, I'm actually just doing something small. With all the grandparents and my aunt and uncle who are really close to her. My cousin had a huge thing for her baby but that was the summer, its dificult in the winter. But you could rent out a room somewhere if you are set on a big thing.

my son turns 1 in Jan and i have no idea on what to do. some mothers in my baby group have just had a BBQ or picnic at the park (depending on the weather). some mothers had a themed party. I agree with the other suggestions less is more when they are this age.
Some suggestions i have been given are: lunch at mcdonalds (they have a play area and also insde facilities in case weather is bad), Day at kindergym, picnic at local petting zoo

I was once told that for a first birthday "less is more" so the baby won't lose it from all the chaos. My daughter turns one on Jan. 20th and I am having the same type of problem of not sure what to do. But, I think I'm going to try to keep it low key. A few presents since Christmas will have just come and gone and some cake and ice cream with close friends and family. Good luck. :)

I feel as desperate as you do, trust me it isn't easy. I'm going to try to do something in a park, next to a lil playground since my baby loves the playground so much. I have also heard of moms doing it in chuck e cheese but I really don't know for sure what I'm going to do either
