Circle of Moms is looking for a senior software engineer excited to help us use technology and online community to dramatically improve the lives of millions of mothers. If you have experience building great products, architecting systems, prototyping and moving quickly, and know how to build and write clean, scalable code, we'd love to talk with you.
This job offers the best of both worlds: the ability to play a prominent role on a small team and gain a significant equity stake, while also working on an established product used and loved by millions of people.
We're looking for a developer who is:
- A great coder, experienced in OOP
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative Internet environments
- Experienced with all sides of a web site -- you'll be focused on back-end code, but understanding of databases, Linux, and AJAX are very important in putting out a good product
- Someone with a desire to shape a product used by millions of mothers -- we have no interest in hiring people who just want to be told what to code
- Someone with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
We'd love it if you have:
- Experience with PHP
- Experience with Python
- Experience working with the Facebook API
- Experience with search
- Experience doing a/b tests (we are big fans)
- An interest in analytics (if not, we'll teach you!)

Social Marketing Manager/Director
Circle of Moms is looking for a Social Marketing Manager who is passionate about social networking, marketing, technology, and the purposeful mission of making motherhood easier for 10+ million moms (and growing!). This role will be Manager or Director level pending experience, and reports to our Vice President of Marketing.
The Social Marketing Manager is a prominent role on a small, entrepreneurial, fast-moving team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading marketing efforts and planning across Circle of Moms products
- Partnering with Product counterpart in defining the offerings and managing marketing priorities with Developer team
- Creating, executing, and scaling social, search, advertising, email programs
- Defining, collecting & reporting out on key marketing analytics via a marketing dashboard
- Identifying key customer insight gaps and defining the right ways to capture
- Staying current on new social media tools and best practices and evangelizing across team
We're looking for an energetic candidate who has:
- 4-8 years marketing experience, with a successful track record in customer acquisition and engagement
- Experience in online marketing and properties, and working closely with product management counterpart to jointly deliver a strong user experience and great performance
- Passion in online and social media technologies (including Facebook, Twitter), with experience utilizing as marketing channels and/or as super-user
- Powerhouse analytical skills: Able to define and measure results against the right metrics and communicate to the team; ideally can perform exploratory data analysis using SQL to discover how consumers are using the product and where we can improve it
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and deliver against multiple, concurrent programs
- Highly organized, self-directed, detail-oriented – with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Bachelor's degree from a top college or university

Inside Sales Manager/Director
Circle of Moms is the largest social network for mothers and one of the leading Internet properties focused on parenting. With nearly 10 million moms in our user base, we are are looking for a talented and passionate Inside Sales Director to help bring great product/service deals from highly trusted businesses and brands to our members, and establish us as the #1 provider of deals to moms nationwide. This is a great opportunity to join a small, rapidly growing team (currently 15 employees), to work on a product that touches an enormous user base (1 in 5 moms with children at home has registered for Circle of Moms) and to earn a competitive cash bonus and significant equity stake in the company. This position reports to the CEO, has very high visibility, and will interact with our investors and board.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Closing sales and bringing in revenue, setting and hitting targets on a a locale-by-locale basis
- Working with local merchants to craft deals that will be attractive to Circle of Moms users
- Working with our marketing team to establish appropriate positioning and merchandising for campaigns
- Driving success in test markets, establishing criteria and targets for expansion, creating a replicable and scalable sales process, and building/managing our inside sales team
We're looking for a driven and accomplished candidate who has:
- 5-10 years of sales experience
- Managed an inside sales team (no enterprise sales)
- Worked at a B2C company in a local sales role (i.e. Yelp, Yahoo, Google)
- A deep understanding of and passion for the local deals business model
