5 year old left alone in amusement park. Advice??

Hi there! I am new to this, but could really use some motherly advice. My ex-husband takes his girlfriend's 8 year old daughter and our not quite 5 year old son to the large amusement park in our city about once a week. While he rides the large rides with the 8 year old, he leaves our son to sit and wait by himself. This scares me to death! I have tried to reason with him and sent articles on stranger safety, but haven't made any progress. My ex-husband has shown lack of common sense too many times to count with our son. Our son has gotten hurt, but thankfully nothing too serious. What should I do about him being left alone? I am considering contacting a lawyer, but not sure what good it will do. I just want to protect my son the most amicable way I can. Any ideas moms??? Thank You! :)

Take his butt to court and get full custode of your child and when the judge asked you why just tell him/her what you have wrote here.
