2 1/2 year old not drinking milk

My 2 1/2 year old son was drinking milk fine until about 2 months ago. I've tried chocolate milk and strawberry milk. How can I get him to drink milk? I don't think he's lactose intolerant because he eats other dairy products.

My 2 1/2 yr son has NEVER liked milk. He was breastfed for the 1st year, and when we moved to cow's milk, he spit it out. Nothing I put in it will make him drink it. I asked the dr about it, and he said just make sure he is getting enough calcium in his foods. I was worried that his diet would be lacking, but he is a great eater and very healthy!

We flavor it with either strawberry, chocolate, or coffee (but we only give a portion of the recommended flavor to cut down on the sugar) Now he actually asks for plain milk. Maybe tell him he can only have milk at lunch or breakfast, and no other drink until he finishes it?? he will get thirsty enough...

Not drinking milk is not a problem. Is is a misconception that we need to drink milk. Propaganda funded by NDCs. Dairy actualy causes more healt problems that we are aware of, it can aggrevate asthma, exsema etc We are the olnly adult mamals in the world that drink milk and we are drinking the milk the milk of another mamal ( with more stomachs than us). adult cows don't drink milk so where do tey get thier calcium from )? The grass. So we should be eating more green leafy vegtable to get our calcium from.

He is probably tired of drinking milk since he has been drinking it his whole life. Just keep giving him the other dairy products, I'm sure as time goes on he'll get back to drinking milk.
