My oldest son will be 4 in July and he should be starting JK in September... He has been home with me his whole life. Yes i am KINDA ready for him to go to school and he keeps asking and telling me he is going to school but i dont know if i should enroll him this year or wait til he turns 5... he will only be 4 for 2 months then into school, and im not sure if he can be going half day every other day (which i wouldnt mind) or half day everyday, or full day every other day or full day everyday... I know im not the only one in Ontario with this on my mind... can i get suggestions ??? PLEASE....

hi my lil bubba also starts school sept after just bein for at end july, i am worried she wont cope but she is my youngest of 3 and know she will cope emotionally, since sept 2010 she has been goin to pre-school one morn, 1 full days, i know she will b fine when its time to go, they need to break away, i know people whos child started school and their bday was end aug and was fine. my lil one is gettin excited bout bein a big girl and goin to big school wiv her friends like her big bro and sis xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx good luck to all our juky 2007 babies xxxxxxxxx

Hiya -it is a really hard time when your little one goes to school! My little girl turns 4 in July and starts school in Sept and i will be heartbroken not to be with her all day every day. But i guess they have to go and learn and grow up, even though it is so hard for us mums. xx

My daughter Bry goes to preschool right now and her first day was hard. She came home all excited and loved it. I was kind of hurt because I have been teaching her since birth but its only a few hours and it makes her feel like a big girl and it helps with things I cant teach her. Like sharing with others, socializing, and not being shy.
