I don't understand - I lose the "baby weight" by 6 weeks after giving birth, though the distribution is always wrong so clothes don't fit, but then I gain more weight back. You'd think chasing kids is good exercise. I need to start a work out regimen. Diet alone never works for me.

I had a baby in July 2007, gained somewhere between 40-50 pounds. I hadn't even lost all that, I maybe needed to loose 10 more to be what I was at my 11 week prenatal exam. Well in May 2008 I found out I was pregnant again. I gained very little weight till about 28 weeks, and it all came on in 10 weeks...40 pounds! So here I am about 4 months post baby, and I have lost a grand total of 57 pounds. I lost it the right way. It started by eating right and sleeping whenever I could to ensure I was getting at least 8hrs, even if it was spread out. Mind you I already had an 18 month old, plus my newborn daughter. She spent the first week of her life in the nicu, so I was a little more active. I also had my tubes tied. When Rachel was 4 weeks old I joined a gym, and started working out, already using a good diet, and it started to fall off. I struggle now with the jiggles...but in time I think it too will firm up.
The key is you HAVE to exersise. You HAVE to eat. Starving yourself will work against you eventually. I know a girl who eats right and exersises, but uses the eating right thing too much. Her way is to eat as much as she will burn in 3 plus hours a day at the gym. She now is underweight, and needs to seek help. If you go back to the way you used to eat you will gain it back. If you don't want to give up diet soda, don't. **pepsi has less soduim** Cut back if cold turkey dosen't work for you. Find natural pick me ups. Going to bed early if u can is a huge help. They say you need 6-8 hours each night. When working out start by going 3 days a week, and when you are super motivated and won't burn yourself out, go more. I was doing 45-60 min of cardio each time, but switch up your routine every 6 weeks, so your body doesn't get used to the same thing. Do weights in shifts, upper body one day, lower body the next. Also go lighter on the weight itself, and do more reps, that will make your muscle more lean than bulky. The picture of me on FB is 5 weeks PP...at that time I was about 35 pounds down. If you want to vent or ask me questions, I am always around...Amanda

I have found it extremely difficult to lose the last 15 lbs after having my daughter(baby #3). At age 34 it is more difficult than with the very first one at age 20! I have found some success in a cleanse program if I just keep on it! I also have been on Migraine medication which has made me gain more weight so I recently switched meds and found the weight slowly coming off finally! Exercise, Eating healthy and Determination!!!! I can see the finish line! Hang in there, you are obviously not alone in this struggle!

MEEEE! I had a baby 9 years ago and gained 40 pounds but lost them in one year without diet or exercise, of course I was 26 at that time. 2 years ago i had my 2nd one, gained the same weight but I´m still over 40 pounds. I tried lot of things and no success. Dr checked my thyroid, hormones and more stuff and everything was ok. So i think definitly is the AGE (now 35) or maybe a medication Im taking (pristiq).

I gained 50 pounds with my twins and lost it after they were born, but once I quit breastfeeding, I gained 10 pounds back. I found working out at the gym and eating healthy is helping, but not fast enough!

That's what's great about this chocolate! It's not a diet.
Personally, I don't think that any diet works...there's no magic pill. It all comes back to healthy eating & living. The chocolate aides in that.
It does 3 main things to help you (although there are really so many more benefits than 3...these are the top):
1. It levels your blood sugar levels...by doing this, it cuts your cravings. When you crave something salty or sweet, it's your blood sugar levels that are out of whack. The chocolate has a natural ingredient in it called Momordica Charantia. This is what works with your blood sugar levels.
1. It boosts your metabolism 5 times (without making you shakey or jittery). The natural ingredient that does this is Bioperine.
3. It's a carb blocker...it blocks up to 30grams of carbs per chocolate...Fabanol is the ingredient that does this.
So, this chocolate aides you in living a healthy lifestyle. Nothing in it is harmful to your body...I've had people take it to their doctors, and the doctors themselves told them to go for it.
It is really infused with some wonderful natural ingredients, and it tastes wonderful too!

Blessings!

I'd love to know more about the diet chocolate. I'm still trying to lose some baby weight. After I had my 3rd child i lost a lot of my baby weight but then I gave up smoking, which resulted in me eating more and of course gaining weight. I find it very hard to get myself motivated. I always fail at diets cause I'm that busy looking after my 3 children and hubby that I usually forget about myself. I've gone from a size 10 uk to a size 14 uk. I feel quite down about my weight, I have lost a lot of confidence. I'm willing to try anything now cause I've got a life to live and I want to do that with my head held high. Any tips from other mums would be really great. Thanks xx

I'm losing my weight by eating chocolate. No lie...
It's a new, healthy dark chocolate...Certified organic & all natural...each ingredient approved by the FDA.
-It tastes great
-One chocolate is equivalent to 9 servings of fruits & vegetables (antioxidant wise)
-It has no harmful artificial sweeteners or sugar
-All of it's ingredients are approved by the FDA
-It's certified organic
-It is good for your teeth
-It cleanses your body of harmful yeast & candida
*****AND, if you eat it on a routine schedule, you can lose up to a pound a day! Seriously...
I've lost 12 pounds this month, and am down 4 pant sizes! My mom has been eating it for 3 weeks and is down 4 pant sizes as well.
I have more information, if you're interested!
It really is amazing!
Let me know :o)

I lost 15 lbs by the end of the first month - the total of 25 lbs I lost, took less than 3 months. I could have never done it just by working out, because I have a hard time getting motivated to do cardio. I did join "curves" for the first two months. It helped burn some of that crazy energy, I got from cleansing. Besides being active with the little ones, now I do yoga 3x a week and whenever I can squeze in some tennis or rollerblading ...

I am just now loosing the baby weight because I joined a gym. I didn't even gain much weight during the pregnancy, 19 lbs. But I breastfeed her for 12 months, when I stopped breastfeeding, that is when I gained the weight. But I just needed to hit the gym and care more about what I ate. How much did you loose with your program and how long did it take?

I am also struggling with this issue.
I lost over 25 lbs last year, which is huge for me since I have a thyroid issue. I still have another 20 lbs to go, but because they closed the LAWL centers in my city, I was left hanging with still another 20 lbs to lose! As a result, I'm not as careful with what I eat and how much of it I eat, though I still exercise regularly and have been able to maintain my current weight.
I still plan on losing that last 20 lbs, though I'm not too sure how to go about it...

I'd like to share, how I did it ... I had 25 lbs to lose and I didn't just want to try anything. I spent many weeks researching different programs. I decided to go with good nutrition and cleansing, which made absolute sense to me! I feel amazing, healthy, happy ...! I believe it's the best thing out there and love sharing it with other mommy's.
