Hello,

I have been having the toughtest time with potty training and it seems to be a topic of great discussion these days with all our Jul 2008 babies! I have seen this 3daypottytraining site, and I am just wondering if anyone has used it and has anything good or bad to say about it because I am willing to try it if it is legit and has worked for you guys! So I'm just looking for input not on potty training itself but more particular about this book and whether it's worth it or not, thanks :)

The 3 day potty training book is an ebook written by a mother of five boys who has put her method down to share with everyone. You can get it off the website if you google 3daypottytraining and it costs $24

Andrea.. My son Brandon took longer than three days.. We still have 1-2 accidents a day, but he is way ahead of other kids his age.. I am glad that this method gave me the confidence to skip the pull ups stage because in all reality pulls ups are diapers.. It has been a cost savings too because diapers are soooooo expensive.. I will definitely use this method with my future children when they reach 22 months.. I would suggest to continue using the mentoring offered by the site.. They have been very helpful to me and I have been working with my son on potty training since the end of May.. It is difficult to do sometimes, but just be patient.. They are in a learning stage right now, so they will get it.. I feel that if my son can learn to count to 10, sing his whole ABCs, and repeat his bedtime prayers to me, then he can definitely learn to tell me when he has to potty!! He is just being difficult, but we are dealing with it and NOT going back to diapers.

Okay. Sorry it took so long to get back about my experience with the 3 day potty training.
It did not work out for my son. I don't think he understands just yet. I think the method will work for some and not others. It is definatley worth getting anyway because of the information that it gives is amazing, and having the online help and support is very helpful and encouraging. My son, I am so proud of him, has made much progress, but we are still working on it. It just takes time. Some kids, like my son, take longer than others. Be patient.

Brandee I'm sure it will all work out, he clearly understands so he's deifnitely a step above :D I think boys are stubborn haha! Well today is day three and we have not left the house at all and I haven't showered in forever but today so far for the whole morning we have no accidents but we had no accidents yesterday morning either so I am not feeling too triumphant yet. I have followed the method to a T though. My son has only rarely when in diapers stayed dry during the night time but i have only had one ngiht accident last night. We'll see how the afternoon goes though...fingers crossed!!

good luck to both of you.. I tried this method back in may.. He did really well.. Pooped in the potty by day 2.. but he was not totally potty trained by day 3.. However we had a lot of interuptions that couldn't be avoided.. If it is just you and the child it can be done in 3-4 days.. he now knows but doesn't always say anything.. We let him collect rocks for a prize and that seemed to work.. Now he gets a small cookie when he goes potty.. He is much farther along than most boys his age.. He does very well when we are out and about, but does bad when we are at home.. Not sure why.. A friend of mine did this with her daughter and by day 4 she had it down.. I was also taking my son to the potty around 12am and 5am daily.. After two months of no sleep and not being able to figure out when he was going to pee at night I gave in to pull ups.. I was a bed wetter into my preteen years, so it doesn't seem like a big deal to me to have a bed wetter.. We limit drinks after 7pm and are all sleeping through the night now.. Let us know how you guys do with this book.

Andrea how did it work out for you? I ended up buying it and the first say we had a lot of accidents and by day two we didn't have any until the afternoon so I am hoping if we keep sticking to it that day 3 we will have massive success!!
