I have not had any problems with my son teething so long as he has something to hand to chew on!

I have found that Hyland teething tabs work. They are 100% organic and dissolve instantly in the mouth. I am not sure where you are located, but I but them @ CVS....

Teething is hard work.....for everyone. They are miserable and don't want to eat - we are up to day four of eating nothing but a bit of fruit and custard. I find the gels work as do the rings, asking for time out when the crying, refusing to sleep etc gets too much and taking 10 minutes to regather your strength helps a lot.
I have found the teething with this bubs to be different from my first. My first got his firth two teeth at 11 months, next two at 14 months and no more till he got all of them at 21 and 22 months. We are cutting tooth 9 and 10 at the moment and have had no break since cutting numbers 7 and 8 last week. It is hard!!

Lots of cool teething rings etc, kept in the fridge. They like to chew a baby toothbrush, and bikipegs/baby teething biscuits.
I bought an amber teething necklace and as much as I hate to say it, it really does work. Within half hour of putting it on her, her cheeks are no longer red, and she stops fretting. I've tried leaving it off several times, and even when calpol (paracetamol) fails, the teething necklace helps.
