I was wondering what Parents Choice diapers from Wal Mart are like before I go out and try them. Anyone use them for day time and night time too? I have two boys in diapers and it's getting expensive.

My daughter just broke out in hive all over her legs, butt and back. This is the only change we have made. I will be switching to cloth.

don't know where you live, but if you happen to be in Texas, the HEB brand diapers are great...cheap, but well made (elastic on the waist for flexibility, absorbant, etc)

I used them for my son and did not like them for night. For day time use they are ok you just have to change them more often.

I didn't like Parents Choice diapers. Other products were okay, but I thought the diapers felt too much like plastic and weren't as absorbant as the Huggies I now use. I started my son out on Pampers but then after he outgrew his size in those, I tried other brands and Huggies Natural Fit are the only ones that will hold up overnight and not leak. Sometimes you have to pay more to get a better quality product. I use coupons to help cut down the cost. You can find boxes that contain the coupons at the time of purchase or can print them off from online. I also found that buying in bulk from eBay also helped cut the expense. I was averaging paying a nickel a diaper in the end when I ordered 200+ diapers at a time.

I live in the UK and we use Pampers Baby Dry - we buy the large boxes of about 104 at a time in order to save money. We've only ever used Pampers since she was born, first the new born range and then we moved onto the baby dry range as she got a bit bigger. I've never had an issues with them and trust them. But each baby is different and what works for one won't work for another, plus it depends on finances too as nappies do certainly add to our shopping bill but that's part and parcel of having a baby!

Pampers Cruisers made my son break out, but Parent's Choice works great for him. He is tall and skinny and they don't leak if we change him often enough. At night we use Huggies Night Time, they last him for about 12 hours.

I used them on my first duaghter and they worked great! When my second daughter came along we tried them and they broke her out so we started either buying Pampers or Huggies. Then we started buying the Walgreens brand and she doesnt break out at all and alot of times they have thier diapers buy two packs of diapers for $13.98 or one for $7.99. I went to my local walgreen yesturday and bought two an then the cashier said she also had a coupon for diapers for 2 dollars of a pack so i ended up paying 10 dollars for two packs of diapers and in this economy its great to find a bargin!!

I have always used Pampers with my kids. I tried Huggies and hated them! We had some problems with the Pampers baby Dry for awhile, the tabs would rip off. So I called Pampers and they sent me $40 card and like 50 in coupons! Now we just use the Cruisers, way better than the baby dry! I have also tried the Target brand, didn't like them cause they are rough! And they seem to be, along with the Parents Choice, a size smaller than everything else!

I have used the parents choice diapers and i do not like them, my daughter leaked all the time and they didnt fit her right. Shes tall n skinny. I use the Pampers Dry. I also used huggies but by the time morning came the diaper exploded on her. I was constantly wiping white particles off her lil bum. I heard huggies overnights work pertty well at night, my sisters lil boy wears them cause he alwasy peed thru at night.

FYI - after ewading some of the post here, I decided to try Pampers at night and it was not good at all. He's leaked every time I used it. Last night he leaked by 2am!

I prefer the feel of Pampers, but Huggies holds it much longer in our house...

I use Huggies on my son. Parents Choice made him break out in rashes and I had to wash his bedding everyday because he leaked alot using Parents Choice

We use Huggies Overnite for night time and they seem to hold up well. I switched Mycah to them around 5 months because he was soaking his bed every night. Since then I haven't had a problem with his diaper leaking.

What I will say about Pampers Dry, which royally pisses me off, is that twice the interior gel balls that absorb the urine have EXPLODED all over my daughter (this is only with her morning diaper, which is very wet)! OMG, that makes me mad. That is disgusting and, I think, a health hazard because of all the chemicals in there.

I sent an e-mail to Pampers customer service and of course never heard back.

When my son was first born we could ONLY use Pampers. We tried Huggies and Luvs and they just didnt fit him right. I was stranded one day with no diapers and I could only buy parents choice..and man am I glad I did! I think they are better than any other honesty...and SO much cheaper! They were a life saver (and money saver!) With another one due in January Im skipping right to parents chioice! He wears them day, night in between and swimming. I have NEVER had a leak or explosion in these like I did with huggies and Luvs and even pampers a few times!! I highly recommend them!

We sort of switch around based on his size and shape. White Cloud worked best when he was teeny tiny, then we switched to Pampers Swaddlers around 3months because he kept exploding out of his diapers! We use Parent's Choice during the day now, and they work great. He's long and skinny, and has skinny little chicken legs, and the Parent's Choice seem to work with that body type. We use Pampers at night, though, because they work for several hours. During the day, it's not such a big deal, since we're changing his diapers every 3-4 hours. And I know what you mean about diapers being expensive! I figure we can afford to use 1 pampers a day, and just stick with the cheap ones for the rest!

Target diapers are awesome and they aren't that expensive. That's what I recommend!!

Again, I like the Target brand, although not for night. It's half the price of Pampers, etc. But I do support Pampers as much as possible, because with every purchase they give to Unicef.

We use between Pampers and Huggies... we tried Parents Choice for our son and I changed his clothes more than i changed his diaper because they leaked badly for little boys obviously. My brother and them use them on their daughter and have no problem. I dont recomend them for boys!

I am a luvs mother myself. I have tried many brands (my husbands family got use almost every kind). Parents choice is good but they leak a little faster then some toher brands. If you change your child a lot then you'll be fine.

I use them for my daughter and love them. I hardly use any other brand. My daughter is very tall and I notice the Parents Choice is a little smaller then name brand diapers. I have bought the Comfort brand at Kroger. They are cheaper and are good to use too.

We use Pamper's Cruisers. They are the only diaper that minimizes diaper rash for Mycah. We haven't had one rash while using them. He started getting them often with the others.

I didn't like them either. I use Target's brand. They're similarly priced, and they're great! But, I still use Pampers Dry at night. They're the only thing I've found that lasts 12 hours without a problem (95 percent of the time, at least).

I also am not too fond of Parents Choice wipes. Too thick!

I do use their formula. It's SO economical!

I use those all the time for my daughter and they are great! They don't break her skin out, and they hold up pretty good at night. Our only problem is that she is kinda between sizes right now, and we have to use the larger size, so sometimes when she is crawling it moves out of place and she pees out the side! Lol
