hi there! Lil Brian eats cheerios all the time, we just switched from the regular ones to the Yogurt Blasts(vanilla flavor) he absolutely loves them and daddy and i like that theres only about 25% of the box thats the yogurt covered cheerios, so not a lof of sugar at all.

My son loves instant oatmeal, he eats it up like it is going out of style.

we do all breakfast foods now. waffles, mini bagels, toast, eggs, fruit, and sure all cereal. He loves apple jacks and lucky charms (but I have daddy eat the marshmellows :) )

My daughter usually has a piece of toast or waffles for breakfast. At super target they have a cooler section just with baby foods in them. Chicken nuggets and fish sticks that are super healthy with no additives.

We haven't tried cereals like that yet. Although I plan on it soon.
Mycah usually eats a cup of milk, a big bowl of beechnut breakfast cereal, and a gerber granola bar (with fruit) in the mornings. He does pretty well with this. The only thing i've found that he has never liked is the basic rice cereal they start them on in the very beginning. Yuck and I understand why!

Bethany - I saw a commercial on TV for big Rice Crispies. They're made especially for toddlers to pick up. I can't find them in the store though.

My daughter will usually eat anything in front of her. I haven't tried adult cereal yet, except oatmeal and cream of wheat. I am haven't thought of trying other adult cereal with her. I am worried about the sugar content. I have mixed oatmeal and yogurt together and have a fruit mixed in.

my daughter eats weetbix (just wheat and a little salt) but she eats it dry and crunchy. She doesn't like the soggy texture with milk. She also shares some of my porridge (just oats).

My daughter loves adult cereal. She refuses the baby cereal now. I think her favourite is All Bran Strawberry Bites. She's also had Heinz Nutrios, which are just like Cheerios but have more nutrients and no added sugar or sodium, Shreddies, and a bit of Daddy's granola but I think that was a bit too crunchy for her.

My son will eat basically anything I put in front of him. But he does enjoy Kix cereal and most often he'll eat the MultiGrain Cheerios.

My son's favorites are Cheerios and the Fruity Cheerios (there is less sugar than Fruit Loops, but more flavour than regular cheerios.) I usually mix the two together so that he is getting some flavour but less sugar. I've also given him rice crispies- but they are harder to pick up. I haven't tried doing it with milk yet...but may try that soon (we haven't really done milk yet).

Personally, I'm staying away from the sugary cereals- save that battle for when he is actually asking for them! :~D I guess I never thought of plain, boring cereals as having much sugar (they certainly don't taste like they do!!!) but now you've got me curious- I'll have to check the labels!!! haha!

Eric's been eating Cheerios since probably 7 months and I don't know how I would live without them! They are so easy to take with you and he will calm down in an instant when I pop a few on the tray of his stroller!
