Yip looks like I will be going off dairy pretty good change that is causing it as my parnter has issues with diary too. A nurse suggested I go off all diary for 4 weeks and then reintroduce it to see if this is the issue. Worth a try as most of the creams are just a stop gap. Hope it does go away as it looks pretty painful.

my son has eczema and i tried loads of creams he has also been diagnosed dairy intolerant as this seems to make his eczema flare up. he now gets soya milk and his eczema has got much better the doctor also said he will prob grow out of it. I am not sayin this is whats wrong with your son but it's an option and the doc also said it's amazing the amount of people that don't realise dairy products can cause eczema. Hope this helps x

I have heard that Olive Oil is good from cradle cap. The only thing that ended up working for ezcema was my nipple cream!! Purelan 100 just watch that your baby is not allergic to Lanolin as some are. It works very quickly and keeps the skin very mositurised. Also does not matter if baby gets in mouth as is pure lanolin. Worked within a day.

LISTEN TO ME! I just had the SAME problem with my 6 months old. It only took 3 bath sessions to get rid of the cradle cap, take baby oil and lather it onto his scalp, leave on for about 2 minutes, take a wooden spoon and lightly push the flakes off of his head. I know that sounds bad...i wasn't even going to do it, I promise it works! And then for the ezcema i put cortizone cream on the rough skin and within 4-5 days you will se a change. About the cradle cap it will probably take between 2-5 bath sessions depending on how bad it is.

We also had really bad eczema. We had great luck with the Mustela foaming newborn shampoo and Eucerin Aquafor ointment. We do also occasionally use a prescription cortizone ointment for really bad flare ups.

I don't know about the ezcema, but my son had cradle cap pretty bad and the one thing that helped clear it up was olive oil. I just rubbed it into his head really well about a half hour before his bath. Then I took a really fine toothed comb (I believe we got it from the hospital) and I just combed out all the stuff. Then I washed his hair like normal, and it hasn't come back since then. I would highly recommend trying it because it is natural, so it can't hurt a bit!

My baby had rally bad cradle cap! We tried everything as well...oil(made him red and irritated), creams, bath washes, lotions...but i found the best thing for us was use babys own soap ONLY!!!! Just wash the baby in soap, make sure they are completely dry, try combing some of it off lightly with a baby comb or bruch if its really bad and then use Glysomed (or the no name brand) it worked wonders for our boy! Hope this helps!

My daughter has ezcema. I have been slathering her with vaseline ( per doctors orders) and it seems to help. The only thing I have been able to bath her with is Eucerin Aquaphor baby wash. It seems to do the trick and her flare ups are not as bad since I started using it. Hope it helps!

We haven't encountered cradle cap but we have had our fair share of excema.  We say a pediatric dermotologist that recommended using aquaphor twice a day.  It has been absolutely great for Mycah and keeps everything under control.  She said to be careful regarding off brands because even though the main ingrediant is the same the other ingrediants may not be and can cause more issues with the already sensitive skin.  Your pediatrician might be able to give you a sample to try before you buy.

my daughter has cradle cap, and so did my first , i made sure to brush her hair after her bath which seemed to loosen the skin up to take some of it away, but aside from that we just left it and it went away on it's own, my first daughters lasted until she was almost a year. my second daughter is 6 months, and still has it but it isn;'t as bad as it was.

Little Alek had eczema so bad the ER doc (on Christmas day mind you) thought it was a viral infection ... but after a doc visit they said to use Eucerin/Aquaphor cream 4-5 times a day and a benedryl cream once a day if really red. He looks like a new baby!

I put a baby oil gel on my sons head a few hours before his bath so it doesn't get too dry when I wash his hair.  So far so good but it comes back because of the heat in the house, it is too dry in the winter.

My son has bad Ezcema all over his body and we have found lotion called Renew it is from Melaleuca.com. Its all natural, and has no fragrance which is even better. It is wonderful I use it before I get him dressed every day and I rarely see the Ezcema.

When my daughter had cradle cap for the first time I was given advice to try many things, and when nothing worked consistently I asked my GP and she told me to use plain old petroleum jelly (vaseline). I tried it that day and the cradle cap just wiped away within a day. For a couple of days after I just put the petroleum jelly on the areas she had it and once all redness vanished I just ensured I moisturised her daily and she hasn't had it since. My little girl also got a case of eczema from constantly sucking her wrap when she slept, under her chin where the moisture got trapped. My GP told me to put a hydrocortisone cream Sigmacourt on it until it disappeared and then told me to moisturise her daily. I use the Cetaphil Cleanser and Moisturising Lotion as it is designed for skin conditions and it works well. I also use the Mustela foaming shampoo to prevent any cradle cap. The Cetaphil products are good value, however, the Mustela products are a bit pricey but then a bottle of shampoo will last some time. Just make sure that none of your products are fragranced as this aggrevates skin conditions. All pharmacists and GPs I have seen advised not to use any Johnson and Johnson products as these were the worst to use for a baby's sensitive skin.

I had to get some cream from the doctor with steroid now the redness has gone, I give my son a bath every morning with oilatum in the water for his ezcema and then some craddle cap shampoo for his head, I then cover him in camaline aqarius lotion on his body and oilatum cream on his head. I applied cream to his head every four hours and if his body looked dry added more cream (normally each nappy change) As it is now clearing up nicely I just apply cream when it feels very dry and make sure i put lots of cream on just before bed!!! Hope this helps!!!

My son had a pretty bad case of cradle cap and I read up on it. What I did was washed his hair frequently (about every other day) and brushed it with a baby hair brush to loosen things up. Also try using baby oil on your little ones head rub it in and also use a baby brush to really get it in there.... do this about half hour before bath time and then wash baby's hair really well. See if that helps if you haven't arleady did.
It will eventually go away my sons cradle cap is almost gone.

Do you live in a colder climate? I've noticed that her craddle cap gets worse whenever she has to wear her hat (which is whenever we leave the hat in Winterpeg). Our son gets some bad eczema so we just really mosturize post bath, and if it gets really bad we were prescribed a big tub of ointment with 1% hydrocortizone that we use to just cover the bad spots and they clear up quickly.

What I used on my 2 children is baby oil after the bath just rub your hands with the oil and then give him a massage this will help him to remove the ezcema.
