Diahrrea and Diaper Rash???

Maddie has had diahrrea and diaper rash for the past four days. She has never had a diaper rash before. She doesn't have any other symptoms. She has been on full formula for one month and we have been supplementing with formula since she was born. She is also cutting a tooth. Can this be from teething? Could it be possible she has a milk allergy even if she has been drinking formula for the past year? Help! I don't know if I should go and see a doctor. She has been going to the bathroom 5 - 6 times per day when usually she goes once.

Its perfectly normal. If she is cutting a tooth the excess drool that she is swallowing will cause diahrrea.. No worries. When my daughter gets a diaper rash (which shes had plently) alot of the over the counter creams didnt work. So i started using the bag balm. Its worked very well. Also you can do no diaper times.. (which is hard now that they are moving) But air helps heal diaper rashes.. rash can be from a wet/poopy diaper on too long (prolonged moisture in a warm place..) well i hope that helps..

p.s- Suggestions for helping the diahrea.... BRAT diet, Banana, rice, apple, toast.

NO WORRIES!!!

My lil guy went through the exact same thing...every time he is about to cut a tooth total diaper rash! Its awful, and deffinately not fun for anyone in the household. He would go about 5-8 times a day!!! I deffinately do not think she has any allergies to the milk if she has been on it for a year. I just constantly changed his diaper...very expensive!!! and tried every cream and remedy under the moon but caking on the Penaten works best for our bub....hopefully it clears up soon for your lil princess :)
