My daughter hasn't had cereal in a long time now, she just stopped eating it. I usually give her pancakes or french toast and some fruit.

I still give her cereal some mornings. But I also give her scrambled eggs or toast.

I don't think so. I started giving my daughter little pieces of toast or waffles ( target sells some in a freezer baby section that are very healthy with no preservatives or addatives). I also still give her baby oatmeal with some fresh fruit just because she really enjoys it. Cheerios are great too!! Easy for her to pick up herself and not high on sugar.
