My daughter is 2 1/ 2 and we have NEVER cut her hair! She never got the baby-mullet, she never lost it as an infant. She came out with a full head of dark hair, and it's just gotten longer and more gorgeous!

What is your little one's hair story? Have you cut it yet? Have they? Did they lose it or no?

Aw Amy that's too cute. I wish we had some curlier hair in our family. Maybe her's will even out soon.

my daughter was pretty much bald when she was born, just very fine blonde hair.. she began to develop a mohawk! her hair grew down the middle the longest and then went to the back. now it's pretty long and her bangs are always in her eyes if i don't tie it back, but i don't want to give her a haircut... it took so long for her hair to grow and it's still REALLY thin.. it's weird too, i have long straight hair, but my husband (if her grew his hair out) has very pretty curly hair, so hers is like in between. it's straight on top and in the front , but the back just curls up and looks messy and makes it look even shorter!

My kids are 6 1/2, 4 1/4 and 2 1/2 and only the oldest has had his hair cut!! :) They all have really curly hair and 6yo DS only had his first hair cut at almost 2 1/2 yrs - he started with just a little and went quite bald on top for a while (like a little old man!! LOL). 4yo DD has really long hair - almost to her waist - but it's so curly that it only reaches her shoulders or just below when it is dry! I can't bare the thought of cutting her hair - though she did cut a few curls off recently!! Mummy was not happy!! 2yo DS is just getting to the stage where we need to cut his as it is lovely when just washed and all curled up nicely but he gets really frizzy and unruly "hat hair"!! I really don't want to cut it though!! :( Silly isn't it that cutting hair can get so emotional!! :) Even worse is that DS 6yo wants to cut all his curls off as he says "Everyone keeps saying they want my hair mummy so I don't want curls anymore!" :) Poor little fella!

I'm thinking we may have to break down and at least trim Lily's hair. It's looking a little rough at the ends now...I don't know if I can do it! I never thought I'd get emotional about her HAIR of all things!

My little 'un has had a few haircuts now. Always had quite fine hair with bald spots above her ears that are still growing through. She hates having hair in her face and doesnt like girly bands/slides either so have to keep it short. The last time we went she was really excited and ran in the hairdressers, jumping in the chair. Gets their mini dvd player and a lolly so all good as long as they dont use any clips in her hair.

well my daughter didnt lose her hair either what little she did have, we did have to cut her bangs they have been cut twice bc she couldnt see. the first timeshe needed it cut i couldnt get her to hold still she dosent like her hair messed with. one day i put her up to the mirror to look at her self and noticed she was sitting still and letting me play with her hair so i combed it pulled it up and cut it, i couldnt believe how good it turned out and she was happy it was no longer in her eyes. while i had her sitting there i cut just the tips off her hair all the way around bc cutting hair makes it thicker and grow faster, her hair was very thin it is now fuller and very long. i have had to cut her bangs twice since then, i would rather pull it up but she wont have that.

My son came out bald so he never lost any hair. I cut it a month after he turned 2 for the first time. I cut off a lock with my shears and then decided to just clipper cut him. All of a sudden I had a toddler! He looked like he was 4 not 2 so I haven't cut his hair since.
