He's had diarrhea for a few days and I think it's from teething because he's still in a great mood but I can't bring him back to daycare until he's better. He's got his two top teeth pushing through so he's also had a runny nose. Help!

Firstly if your son eats apples or applesause or drinks apple juice stop. It makes diarrhea worse. Go to a health food store near by like Whole Foods, etc and purchase the homeopathic pills titled: Gelsemium. I suggest 30x strength. Give him 1 in his mouth every couple hours and 3 before bed till its gone. Gelsemium is for diarrhea that is caused by a physical pain like teething. :) It should stop in a couple doses:) !! :)

Grains usually make my baby's poop hard, maybe you can try it - beens, lentils...

I guess there is a viral diarrhea going around - I talked to the nurses line. It could last up to two weeks, ugh!! She said it isn't contagious after 24 hours so I should be able to take him to daycare tomorrow.

My son gets sore bum whie teething and his teachers thought it was diarrhoea but it wasn't because it didn't smell bad like diarrhoea would. Will they not let him go if he has this because of his teeth?
