Ok I took my daughter to the doctor july 14, and the doctor told me she was whinney becuase her front tooth was coming in, and as of today she still does not have one tooth. She was a premmie of 29 1/2 weeks so she is actually only suppost to really be 12 months but anyway, she has been whinney again lately but still no teeth could something be wrong?

I've heard that the longer it takes their teeth to come in, the healthier they'll be. My oldest DD's first tooth didn't break though until she was about 14 months old. The second one's broke through at seven months.

Kaitlyn didn't get any teeth till she was 11 months, she was so crabby and got 6 teeth in about 6 weeks. That's still all the teeth she has at 14 months, we have one bottom one that pops up but won't break through. I really don't expect her to get anymore for a while since I only had 6 teeth at 16 months. I think each baby gets them at different times so I wouldn't worry too much!

One of my boys' teeth grow in really slowly (slow and painful!). She may just be one of those unlucky babes.

A friend of mine...her little girl didn't have any teeth at a year old...a couple of months later several teeth grew out at once (ouch!).

I'm sorry I don't have a great answer but I hope it helped a little with some reassurance that you're not alone!
