Over the last 8 days my 8 month old has projectile vomited 5 of the days...only one time each day and then he is just fine. Could this be due to teething as he has just popped one tooth and I noticed the 2nd one popped overnight (he vomited again last night)?

I work at a daycare and that same thing has been going around. Some of the kids got vomiting, some diarrhea, some both, some with a fever and some without. Some it lasted for a day some it lasted for 4 days.

Yeah the same thing happened to my niece, she is 14 months old and she only vomited in the middle of the night and then was fine all day long, ate fine, drank fine... it lasted about 4 days i think. My sister called the doctor and they didnt even want to see her, they just said it was a virus going around. Good luck

The vomiting happens long after he has eaten...usually late at night or early morning. No fever and no Diarhea.

It may be that something just didn't agree with him or he may have reflux. I would talk with your pediatrician just to make sure. He or she may be able to give you something so your little one doesn't do that anymore. My oldest son had the same kind of deal and my pediatrician had me supplement my breast milk with AR lipil formula until he stopped. My little one is getting his first two teeth in as well. He's handling it well so far. Hope your little one gets better soon.

I know a stomach virus is going around right now. My niece and nephew had the vomiting and diahrea and about a week ago my 8 1/2 month old had the diahrea but not the vomiting, thank god. Some doctors have said it is common to have "loose stools' when the baby is teething because the baby is drooling so much. I think if your baby's temperpent have not changed i would not worry too much about it. Congratulations on the teeth, my daughter still has not gotten her first yet. Good luck, I hope your baby feels better

Poor baby and poor you! I would ask your dr. Have you tried any new foods lately? I have read that babies can throw up if they get themselves worked up crying.
