Hi Ladies!

My son's jammies and crib are always drenched with pee in the morning and I'm changing sheets every day. Of course his diaper is always changed right before bed, so I am looking for some ideas to prevent the changing and washing...I found some diaper liners on Babies R Us online but they seemed kind of pricey. Does anyone have this issue and if so what do you do?

Try cloth! I use the Happy Heiny brand and 3 inserts. Overnight diapers, sizing up, doubling up..... nothing worked for my son. Cloth is not what it used to be!!! Get a few and you will love them! Save money in the long run.

When Brandon started to wake up and was wet we just went up a diaper size for night time and that worked for us. He wears Pampers 3 during the day and 4 at night.

don't spend money on overnight diapers! Just buy the next size up and make sure that most of the diaper is in the front! Works like a charm.

I use cloth diapers with a wool soaker at night. No leaks. My son drinks a lot at night - he has water from his sippy and he's most thirsty before bed. He also nurses during the night so his diapers were very heavy! :)

Why not try a cloth diaper overnight? A friend's son who also uses disposables (and is also 16 months old) was wetting his bed/clothing by the morning. She took 2 square towelling diapers on top of each other instead of just a single one for his bum. She says it works like magic! It's HEAPS cheaper and you can just wash it at the same temperature as your other washing if it's just a wee diaper.

Don't stop fluids. Your child needs them. They could become dehydrated, and that's BAD.

I have a solution. Change Daipers. I mean the type you use.

Been there done that two kids. If you can find them ---Huggies OVERNITES and Pampers also has a 12 hour diaper. I found them by accident. What a godsend.

And they ARE NOT Pricey!!!!!

When it's time to Potty train you're going to reduce the fluids at bed time, but right now...just read the lables.

I hope this Helps.

p.s. they are sold at Zellers, Superstore, and Save on foods Good luck.

When we were having those issues, we just bought a larger size diaper for the nights =) Worked great.

My first daughter was really bad with this! We also cut her fluids, and we also put on the plastic training pants over her diaper at night time! They work wonders!

No with my second daughter, she doesn't have a problem wetting through at night, she has a problem with taking her diaper off and then pooping in the crib every morning! I do NOT know how she is getting the diaper off, but when I figure that out, hopefully we can find a cure to that one! Cause I to, am sick of changing the sheets everyday and taking clorox wipes after the crib every morning!

My son has been doing the same thing...I switched over to huggies overnight diapers, they are kind of pricey but definately worth it and also bought the plastic pants, the ones that you use for potty training (got them at walmart, a four pack for around $5.00).

Did you ever resolve your issue with the peeing thru everything> my son Logan was doing that and changing sheets and the never ending laundry was killing me!! But we tried the huggies overnights and they work miracles!!!! He sleeps thru the night for up to 10 hours and it never soaks thru...even when its not just pee in there when he wakes up. try them if you havent. hope they work for you!!

pampers active baby (1 size bigger than u normally use) for the night.I've noticed that when the nappy leaks it means that the size u using might be getting too smal. these are brilliant. also as everyone has said...cut down on the liquids before bedtime. U might want to add a waterproof sheet under the bedsheets to save ur matress as well.

Fisher Price came out with some really nice, super absorbent overnight diapers called "Happy Nights." They're sold at Babies R Us. I've tried Huggies and Pampers overnight diapers and they both leaked.

I dont have this problem with my son but I did babysit a kid that would soak everything and his parents would put a pad in his diaper at bedtime and they said that worked really well

I agree with everyone. Do try the overnight diapers. I feel they are worth every penny. Do cut back on the fluids. It worked for us too.

I second what Kara and Erika said, and I'll add that you might try a different or bigger diaper. My daughter was doing that, and I moved her from Size 3 Pampers Baby Dry diapers to Size 4.

Hello there!!!!

My son loves Fluids and will ask for his sippy cup all day, I quickly learnt that his fluid intake was causing him too wet thru diapers at night. We switched him to the overnight Diapers at night and cut off the sippy cup past 5 pm. That worked for us and he rarely wets thru anymore!
