Now that my daughter is 14 months old there is a pile of toys that she doesn’t need or play with anymore. I really don’t want all those toys at home anymore, I refuse for my house to become a toy store…so I am looking for websites/places where I can take all those “unwanted” toys; any suggestions?

I had a yard sale and sold off some of his toys and clothes (I also made gift baskets with toys he refused to play with and clothes he didn't really wear). All the extra I had left over from those yard sales (I had about 4 this year) I gave away to charity and a few as hand-me-downs. (I really hate when people complain they don't have enough baby clothes but when you give them hand-me-downs they complain that it doesn't match their kids style or they don't have any clothes to match. I also got one who yelled at me for not giving her enough... so I personally prefer charity).

See if you have a Childrens Orchard near your home. They take gently used toys and clothes and give you store credit. most things are like new!! I get clothes with store tags still on them!!

Do you have a local homeless shelter? Alot of homeless shelters and soup kitchens are getting families because of the bad economy. Also, if there's a foster family agency in your town they usually take them and give them to foster children

Definately second-hand shops. or if you would like to make some money back sell on Ebay, or sell it at a car boot sale/or market.

I have bought lots of toys and clothes for my daughter from people selling their kids old stuff at car boot sales/markets or from second hand shops. Check out your local playgroups or toy library as well, they might take them too.
