Marleigh weighed 13 pounds 14 ounces at her 6 month checkup. She was 25 inches long. She's very small for her age. Always has been.

I don't remember the head circ. and I'm too tired to go get the baby book lol.  But I do remember he was 18.5lbs and 28 1/2 inches long.

My little one just had her 6 month check up on January 29th (her bday is 7-28-08).

She weighed 18.6lbs

27  inches long

17 head circumfrance

She so doesnt look 18lbs... but I feel it when I hold her!!

My little guy went to the doctor Monday and he weighed 18 lbs and was 28 inch. He is average and healthy.

Hello Everyone! My little guy Kaden who was 6 months on January 13th was at the Doc on Monday and he weighed 19lbs 7ozs (he was 6lbs 10ozs at birth) and he is 27 inches long (21 inches at birth). I think his head was only 14 or 15, he's got a small head, narrow in the front unlike his sister who has a huge head, I had to buy her a winter hat for ladies because the kids hats were to small!

Silas turned 6 mo July 30 and had his checkup just after that. He weighed 22.6 pounds, 271/2 inches, and his head was I think 17. He's a big boy and almost ebf with the occasional avacado, and cereal with blueberries now and again.

Mady was 17lbs 4oz and 271/2 inches long. I do not remember exactly what her head was though. I do remember that it was around the 40% though. She is in the 90% for her length and in the 70% for weight. That does not surprise me though because I have two older children who are also in the up percentiles for height and weight.

I just took Ace....whose appointment was a little late due to me being out of town and the doctor being out of town, so he was a week shy of 7 months when he had his done. He weighed only 14 lbs 13oz and 25 3/4 inches. He just had surgery on January 13th, so he has maintained around 14 pounds for the past month or so. He had surgery on his intestines and they took out his appendix. This is his 2nd surgery in his first 6 months of life. :(

Patrick weighed 9.2lbs at birth and was 21 inches when born. At his 6 month well visit he is 26.1lbs and 29 1/4 inches. His head circumfrance was 28 or something,Im pretty sure it could be a little higher or less I forget actually. He had his visit yesterday, and due to his shots, he has been awake with a 101.6 fever since 2am. no naps, no playing, just crying.

JJ's 6 month check up was yesterday.  He was 14.06 lbs, 25.5 in long and head was 45.5 cm, which is a little under 18 in.  My little guy's head is in the 95th%, but his weight and length are on the small end of the spectrum.  Both my husband and I are not short (5'9 and 6'3), so the doc. tells us that he will probably catch up, but as long as he is following "his growth curve" then he is healthy.  His head has always been on the big end and he was 6lb 7 oz when born so he seems to be staying on that track.

So I weighed my little guy on my bathroom scale LOL! And measured him with my husbands tape measure. He's about 22lbs and 28 inches long. The doctors office was too busy at his check up for the nurses to weigh him up since the scale room was being occupied. *sigh*

Emily had her check up on the 14th. She was 19lbs 7oz (95%) 27 1/2 inches (95%) I think her head was 17 3/4 (95%) She was not happy about the shots!

Jessica had a rash at her 6 mo appointment and the office wouldn't look at it and do the 6 mo checkup so she only got weighed. She was 14lbs 12 ozs. She was kinda small at birth tho (6lbs even). I'm sure she's not any longer than 24 inches, she was 23 1/4 on Dec 15th. Her "6 mo" has been postponed to Feb 19th now so it'll be a 7 month appt by then.

Willow had her 6 months check up about a week and a half ago

18 lbs 9 oz  and 26.77 inches the doc didnt write her head circumfrance down but it was small because it wasnt on the percentile chart.

At the doctors office he plotted all mesurements on the chart on his comp and she was in the 95th for weight and 50th for height but my hand held record plots her on the 75th for both, kinda wish he wrote her head down so I would know what it said on my chart.

Mycah is 16 lbs 14 oz and 26.25 inches long with a head circumfrance of 17 .... that puts him on the 50th all the way around.

If your child is getting immunizations, then the 6 month check up is pretty important.  It's okay if it isn't exactly at 6 months, becasue the next check up will be the 1 year, so you have a little wiggle room (that's what my pediatrition told me at least), but you should really call your doctor and get a check up for your little one.

Unfortunately when my son went for his check up the Dr. office was crazy busy, so I never got the chance to get the results. I'm going to take him to the local health unit and get that done tomorrow... let you all know :)

She has always been in the 97%, her daddy is 6ft 4, and I am 5ft 10.  We werent expecting petite!!

Audrey was 28 in. long (97%) and 21.2 lbs (95%). She's been very consistant with her growth. My husband is very tall as well so she's always measured tall for her age.

Niomi just went for hers last monday, and she is 27 inches long which is in the 95 percentile for hight for her age group and she is 16 lbs and that was right on the money not too big or too small. our dr was very pleased with her he always has been he said she is perfect for her age and we are doing everything right. I have a tall family and so does my husband so it isnt a surprise that she is tall for her age.

I thought Brandon would have gained more weight being on solids, but he hasn't. I almost think he stopped gaining so fast do to the fact that the stage 1 baby foods have so few calories. I even am putting rice cereal in his formula. He's 26" and 15 lbs 9 oz at 6 months. Each baby is different though.

Braedon had his 6 month check up this past week and he is 22.2 pounds, and 26 3/4" long. So the doctor said that he is 50% for height, and 90% for weight and head circ. Other than that he is in great health and the doctor said don't change a thing. Braedon was 5.5 weeks early and spent 3.5 weeks in the NICU. SO I'm glad that he is doing so good.

Celeste went for her 6-month checkup today. She weights 16lbs 14oz, is 26.5 inches and HC 17". She was 6 lbs 12 oz when she was born. I guess she's been gaining about a pound a month!

Rio was 18.5 lbs when he was 5 1/2 months old. He was 26.5 inches long, his 6 month check up is in 2 weeks. He is a long boy, not chubby so much, but very lean. My husband and I are tall so he's probably going to be big. He was 8lbs 9oz when he was born, and 20inches long. He was also born with a crazzzzzy head of blonde hair, but it's falling out :(

My little guy was 16 lbs exactly (25%), 26.25" long (50%) and 17cm head (around 75%)

We started him on solids a few weeks ago and I'm curious to see how his rate of weight gain goes now. He's always been a little guy. I can't get him to eat more than he wants and he eats like a little bird.

all of them are real close in weight and length.... Mine is Exclusively breastfeed too.... we did start introduicing fruit/w cereral in the mornings. He is very intrested in what we are eating and watches us very closly but when I offer him his food he would prefer the breast .... My doc told me not to rush soilds he is gaining wieght good and healthy.... and thats the important things!

We don't have 6mth check ups in Engalnd, as such, but at last weigh in just before christmas he was just over 16lbs. Julie, don't worry about making him a "porker", feed him as much as he wants as excess weight will a) be burned off once they start crawling and toddling, BELIEVE me! and b) can be essential if they get a bug. When they're this little, the weight can drop off them with vomiting/diarrhoea on just a couple of days and they also don't eat when they're poorly either. Obviously, I'm not saying feed him up just in case, but don't let the media worry you about obese babies already. When they get to 3 or 4 yrs old, that is a different matter, but babyhood is one of the few times you should enjoy not having to worry about theire excess weight. xxx

Miley goes on Monday for her 6 month checkup. I am guessing that she is gonna be around 18 pounds and at about 28 inches long. Shes a big girl and fat girls need their food, haha! I will repost when we go to our appointment!
