I suggest talking with his doctor just to be safe. Not crawling isn't to cincerning but I think he should be sitting up by now. Don't want to worry you, just talk to your doctor.

He wont eat pureed food? Maybe skip a bottle and give him the food when he is really hungry. I only suggest this becasue he is getting a lot of milk so if he skips a bottle, it wont hurt anything. Try things like carrots or sweet potato, those were my daughters favorite. Or even try apples or pears - a sweet fruit to get him started.

Every baby develops differently. He isn't losing milestones he just isn't gaining them as quickly as you would like. I would talk to his pediatrician and verify all is well. And then keep offering him food. Do you put him in a high chair? Or anything? The most useful for us was putting her n a high chair and putting the food on the tray she gets a bottle an hour or more after solids. Otherwise she would never eat it. You can also mix milk into the food may help the taste what he is used to.

Well, it might just be that he's a bit slower to get going, but to me the refusal of solids is definately worth seeing someone, and while you're there ask about the gross motor development. I'm pretty sure he should have developed head control well before 9 months too. DD2 was quite a chubby bubby and of my 4 she was the slowest to get going, but had great head control in the first few months. I wish I could remember when she started sitting up unassisted, I know she was 14 months before she walked, she was rolling over around 8-9 months... commando crawling... again I can't remember... will have to go back over photos to check dates LOL

he isnt doing anything no crawling no sitting up etc... his head control is fine now but only in the last month or so... he can turn ova himself but then screems because hes stuck there.!! yes he can pick things up like holding his own bottle and putting his dummy back in but thats it.... people keep telling me oooh dont worry he will do it when hes ready but im not too sure now.!!

Eating i offer food before his bottle all the time and in between his meals, itis a lot of bottles still but if i dont give them him thats less hes havin... i cant win.!! he doesnt even take well to his juice!! very sicky if i give him anything other than milk... ill keep you posted thanks lisa

How is his other development going? Not sitting at 10 months sounds to me like a concern, but that depends on how he is with other things... is he crawling (even commando), how is his head control? What about fine motor - picking things up?

On eating, do you offer food before a bottle? 7 sounds like a lot of bottles, and at 10 months he really needs the additional nutrition that he would get from solids. Definately something to talk to someone about - GP, pediatrician, child health nurse. Let us know how you go!
