My son is 14mos and has never slept through the night. He wakes anywhere from 2 to4 times a night. Most of the time he wants to be breast fed. My dr said he was a trained night feeder, and gave me info. It was basically the "cry it out" method. We tried that, and he'd rather scream and cry to the point of almost throwing up. If he stands up he will not even lay back down on his own. I can't stand hearing him cry, and he also wakes up his 2yr old brother. So does anyone have any other ideas. I can't be in the room with him and not pick him up(he cried for 1 1/2 hrs) and peiodically checking on him gets him more riled up just seeing me. Tried to have my husband go in there with him,and it was even worse. He sleeps about 2 hrs during the day, but only gets 5 or 6 hrs at night. I'm just concerned about the lack of sleep effecting his development, and the fact that he has never slept through the night literally his entire life!
