my daugter is 10 months old nd she just stared sitting....she is extreamly far behind...she was 5 weeks early so the doc said giv her an extra month to hit her milestones but im pretty sure she is much more than a month behind....if she doesnt start doing more things soon they recomended physical therapy...eventhough theres nothing physically wrong with her, they can help her to get the point that she needs to learn these things.

My son is 11 months next week and is only standing for a few seconds on his own - he'll pull himself up on anything with no problem, but seems to be at least a couple of weeks away from solid standing - if there's one thing I learned from my first (now 3yo), don't rush things! They do it when they're ready...and when they are, watch out! :)

Yeah it some babies just take longer to do things. There is no "right way" for a baby to be at a certain age.. its whenever they are ready to do things. And once they start picking things up more frequently it seems that everything happens at once! My son started scooting around (Dragging himself Army style) and then started pulling himself up and walking along things, and it felt like the next day he was walking across the room with a walker.. and now hes crawling properly.. all in the last month!! Don't panic, just work with her on doing those types of things repetitively, give her lots of floor time on her belly, even if she doesn't like it so she can build those muscles needed! I'm sure she will be fine :)

My baby boy has been trying to crawl for a while (without much success - was dragging himself around sniper style for a week or so), and wasn't standing at all unless I put him on his feet and held both of his hands. Then all of a sudden within the last 2 weeks, he's now crawling, pulling himself up to standing up all on his own, and today he even managed to pull himself up onto the second step of the stairs (fortunately I was right behind him at the time!!)!! It's amazing how quickly they pick things up!?! Have to watch him every second now!! He's wearing me out already - good luck!!

My 11 month old is not crawling or pulling up yet. She tries to do both, but just can't quite get it yet. If I hold her up, she can stand up, or she can hold onto something and stand. She just scoots or rolls to wherever she wants to go right now.

My daughter just turned 11 months yesterday and doesn't walk yet. She can stand if she's holding onto something but she can't pull herself up yet or walk on her own. She just started crawling about 2 weeks ago and is actually coordinated at it now, before it was a clumsy mess LOL. I figure it's all in due time and now that she's into everything just from crawling, I'm not rushing her into walking cause at least now I can catch her relatively quickly
