Is anybody else having issues with their child getting up during the night? My almost 3 year old son gets up 1-3 times during the night. He always comes to my side of the bed. I put him back in his own bed each time. I have no idea why he does this or what I can do to stop it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I have tried putting a nightlight in his bedroom, but that didn't work either

Yeah, I wouldn't put him to bed later, that could make him over tired and worse. My son stopped napping around 20 months and sleeps from 6PM, wakes at 10:30pm for a drink then sleeps until 7:30am. It was a guessing game for us, trying and testing different bed times to see which was best for him, that's how we figured him out. Sometimes going to bed earlier can help. Not sure if you could try the same and see if it makes a difference?

He is up around 7:30 in the morning and takes an hour nap in the afternoon and then goes to bed at 9:00. Even if I put him to bed later he still wakes up 1-3 times in the night

My son used to do this too. He never had a dummy or comforter so he used his sippy cup as one. He used to wake up 2/3 times for more milk/water just so he had it, even if he didn't drink it it had to be there full! He has gradually got better now only wakes up once around 10:30pm.
What time are you putting him to bed?
What time is he up in the morning?
Does he still nap?
