Any July 2009 babies walking yet?

My little guy is cruising and it is driving me nuts! He is into everything! He can climb up on just about anything, but isn't showing any signs of letting go... He also isn't quite stable enough for me to trust that he isn't going to "go down" at any point... My first didn't walk until he was 11 months, I was just wondering how everyone else's babies are doing!

my daughter is the same as your son i think. Very good at cruising and will stand up without holding on to anything but will not take a step. she will lower herself by bending her knees then crawl to her target then stand up again, she doesnt even use her hands to stand up she just stands so i dont think it will be long now...

My daughter turned 10 months old on May 23rd and took her first steps 2 days before. She is still very wobbly, but wants to take on the world! She actually walked pretty far yesterday, but fell over. When we try to work with her she gets too exctied and starts leaning forward....she cracks me up when she does this. She'll be walking well before my first one, which started walking 2 weeks after her first birthday.

My baby boy is 10 months and he's just pulling up on things and standing on his own. I know in a couple of weeks he'll be stepping and getting into more things than he is now.

I wish at times mine would hold my hand but he is so independent. Granted he is a mommy's boy but he is insistent on doing these things on his own.... lol

Aiden started walking on April 10th, to his Grandma and not to mom, he isnt to the running stage or even I like walking more stage yet, but he does tend to get interested in something he is holding and walk in the middle of the room before he realizes that he is actually walking and then proceed to sit down. He has managed the knack of standing up in the middle of the room after crawling there. He is in the process of learning that walking is faster and he can see so much more at that level. Like where mom hid the remote.... haha

My son is almost 10 1/2 months old and took his first steps a few days after turning 9 months and now is walking all over. He gets excited and starts running but usually ends up crashing! He is totally into everything, much more than before! We let him walk in the store the other day and it was hillarious to see the expressions of onlookers when they see this tiny boy walking all over! And no, he didnt get into anything there! I was shocked! I know, give it a few months (or even weeks) and that will change lol

Makayla will pull herself up and walk across the couch or coffee table while holding on and if I hold her hands but no steps alone yet and she can't stand up by herself completely yet. For a few seconds at a time..I know that is won't be much longer until she is walking though. She crawls all over the place and destroys everything in her path.

My little man just took his first steps by himself last week. He was walking everywhere with our help and still is until he gets confident. In the mean time it is killing my back. Try sitting on the floor with you and your significant other/friend and hold a toy far enough away that he has to take a couple steps to get it. If you stay behind him you can catch him if he goes down. Keep doing this and he will get it in no time.

Sarah turned 10 months on May 2nd, and is walking only if her hand is being held. She is not able to stay on her own and itsn't crawling either. From the second she is up from her nap, all she wants to do is walk around. I can't wait for the day where I can let go of her hand and see her walk on her own!!

Torsten took his first unsupported steps the week he turned 9 months and is cruising now at 10 months. At home he'll walk a good 10-15 feet without support but when we are in unfamiliar places he needs the comfort of a finger to hold. But we are early walkers in my family. My husband didn't walk until 15 months

My daughter Madison is 9 1/2 months and she held my husband and my finger to walk around our house. She looks at us like we are crazy if we let go. She can stand by herself, but is still not confident enough to take that first step...I see her want to lift her leg, but she decides to crawl instead. XD I'm so excited for her to start walking.

Caroline will be 10 months on Monday and she has no interest in even crawling!! Her doc blames it on 2 things: a little laziness and the fact that she has so much body to support- she was 31 1/4 inches at her 9 month visit! Apparently she is ahead of the game in other areas so no worries her. She does stand up at the coffee table and loves it. I think she will walk before she crawls- we'll see!
