Two friends of mine swear by a method they say has worked for both of them. Each time they wanted a certain gender they had it. Anyone else know of anything we can do that will improve our chances of me getting pregnant with a boy? We have 2 girls and really want a little boy.

I've heard about what Liz wrote. Haven't tried it myself but I did hear that it will really only up the chances to 60% in favour of the gender you're going for. Basically it says that if you want a boy, male sperm swim faster but die quicker so you need to NOT have sex until you are exactly ovulating. If you want a girl, female sperm swim slow but will outlive male sperm. So you have sex a whole bunch before you ovulate then stop the day b4 you are supposed to. That way, in theory, the majority of male sperm will be dead and the females will still be around.

Hi Nicole, there is actually a science to it, I dont know the actual details but because male sperm swim faster but female sperm live longer you have a certain window of days in your cycle when you can concieve whichever sex you want. You need to be very intune with your body and know your cycle well. I am sure if you google it you will find more info on this supposedly very reliable Good luck :)
