Anyone else had issues with preterm labor?

My due date was supposed to be July 29th. I now have a 2 week old son. I started preterm labor at 28 weeks. I was on Terbutaline from then until I reached 36 weeks. They took me off of the medicine when I hit 36 weeks. I had a doctor appointment at 12:15. I then started having contractions at 2:28pm. I had him the next day at 11:21am. He was 5lbs.14.9oz. 20 in. long.

with my first pregnancy i had perterm labour...i had back labour for 4 days at 33weeks and the drs kept stoping it...it was horriable and i ended up with really bad back issues now. i was induced with that pregnancy at 39weeks due to the back pain from those 4 days and my labour was 7 hours and i pushed for about 20 minutes. i am being induced again, for arrangements to be made for our son and my husband is military so we will have our baby on july 11 and we are hopeing for another fast delivery. i didn't have any complications with this pregnancy like i did the first...sever hyperemsis for 7 months...if your baby is born this far in, it will be fine. anytime after 36 they are considered term and after 25 they usually will thrive in the nicu and catch up to where they need to be. don't stress too much as it will bring on the labour again. try to enjoy the last few weeks of thepgrenancy problem free and keep positive. good luck:)

I am 35 weeks tomorrow, and last night was in the hospital due to dehydration when they noticed I was having regular contractions, but not really feeling them. They now have me on a medicine to stop the contractions, and I am supposed to be resting. I know in my head that if he is born soon it will be okay, but that doesn't stop me from worrying my heart out over it. I am due July 20th, and this is my last week of school (I'm a teacher)... I just want to get through this week...

i am at 33 weeks now I just got back from the hospital i was also admitted for contractions thankfully they werent shortening my cervix. and a really bad kidney infection but they also told me that if i can get another 2 weeks, just past 36 weeks there will be no problems with having him that early..i am due july 23rd so that was scary news but im sure if they are taking you off the meds you and baby are both healthy and ready to be together!!!! i was admitted to the hospital at 32 weeks and im due july 21 my cervix has already dropped and thinned out and im also on bedrest but was assured by the doctors if anything happens past 34 weeks everything should be well so i wouldnt worry to much im also on bedrest and the doctors dont think i will make it 36 weeks if you have been on all the meds and they are taking you off then all should be fine good luck with things

Everything I have read says that she should be okay (maybe a couple extra days in the nursery) if born after 34 weeks.
