Everyone tells me that I need to nap when Cayley naps, but I went back to work just 2 1/2 weeks after I had her, working bout 35 hours. When Im home I feel like I have better stuff to do than take a nap! I am overly exhausted though! Help me not feel bad for just taking a tiny nap!

I have a hard time sleeping when he sleeps as well, thinking of all of the things I could be doing instead of sleeping, or thinking he'll just be up soon anyway. If you have someone else around I'd try napping in a different room than Cayley, that is usually how I get one in on the weekends when my husband is home to help watch him!

Take the nap! Get a baby sling so you can carry baby around when you do chores around the house when baby is awake. If some things don't get done around the house, don't stress about it.

I feel for you since you had to go back to work so early!! Don't feel bad for taking time for yourself. You need all the strength for you and your baby. Have your partner (if there is one) help out alittle bit more while you adjust and take care of the baby. It is a 50/50 partnership in marriage and raising children. The first few months are an adjustment to having another little one around. Good luck.

do not feel bad....if you arent rested then how on earth can you take good care of your little munchkin.....if it makes you feel better then snuggle with her while you take a nap that way you will be close to her. but don't feel bad.
