i am pretty sure you can. my daughter eats white rice. i heard brown rice is alot more healthy for them anyway. Also rice tends to be thick so you might have a full baby.

I don't see why not. Go for it, as long as they like it. My son eats pretty much everything we are eating at the table, just of course, cut into little pieces. (hehe) He has been eating a lot more than usual and more variety, think he's going through a growth spurt.

Sure. At nine months I'd give a baby any healthy food (except whole nuts and a couple of other choke hazards)

Yes, yes, yes!!! I grind brown rice in a grinder to a powder then do 1 cup water to a boil and 1/4 cup of the rice. Make it on the stove, stir until thickened, about 3-5 minutes. I also do the same with oatmeal. Super Baby Food is a good book for what to feed your child when. Complex grains are good! Brown rice was the first thing my daughter ate at 6 months. I mix it with banana or I'll take frozen peaches or mango, puree them and mix them with the cereal. Applesauce works too. Hope that helps!

Brown rice is recommended over white rice due to the nutrition. The book I picked up recommends brown rice as one of the first foods at 6 months.

I've been giving my 9 month old brown rice, white rice and quinoa since she was 7 months. Brown is better too. Try risotto too, if you haven't already - its a great consistency.

I can't see why not...if the consistency is close to what he/she is used to then it should be fine. Brown is always better than white!

I'm pretty sure you can. In 9month jarred food they have white rice in some kinds so as long as it's "chopped" enough for your baby to eat go for it. The healthier the food the better:)
