Andrew's birthday was the 13th and I made him a giant cupcake and let him dig in! We had his party for him on the 17th that was a huge Jungle themed party. We made giant trees in the house, had jungle animals all over, and had a very cool Jungle cake. I wanted to do a fun themed birthday that wasn't going to break the bank as I knew my son wouldn't care one way or the other! The internet offered tons of fun, cost effective ideas that made for an outstanding party that definitely set the bar for next year!

My daughter is turning one this 23rd. Her party is on the 25th. We have invited about 60 people to a hall and catered by serving hotdogs, hamburger and chicken. cake and desserts will be provied by us. Balloons will be done by a company. I know this sounds like a big bash for a toddler but it's more a get together for both families and friends. What's so great about it is the hall and food are free because my husband does a lot of IT work for the hall. No..we're not going to do this every year.

Oh, I forgot to mentioned this is my fourth. I have done big (60 guests) BBQ to the ChuckECheese (for whole class) to an all nighter Porker/Game night for my son to a SPA Slumber Party for a daughter. BTW, the kids can't remember their parties from when they were this young. I have to show them pictures.

We just had an at home party with family (Grandpa, parents, and siblings). Sometimes you don't have to have a huge party to enjoy yourselves. She had a cupcake and ice cream for the first time. Then we opened presents and played with her until 10 pm!

Desmond's will be right on his birthday, the 23rd; just cake & ice cream and it will be an evening party with the family only (aunts, cousins, grandmas, grandpas). He was baptized just a month ago so we had a big party for that. I'm still decorating though, Winnie the Pooh banner, balloons & tablecloth & plates.
