Has anyone had issues feeding there baby Nutramigen Formula?

Hello all!! I just talked with my doctor after 3 1/2 mos of an unhappy baby and after every thing else I have done I have been advised to switch him to nutramigen formula. I just started it tonight and he will not eat it! He took about a 1/2 oz then spit it back up and will not take the bottle for nothing. So I tried to mix half gentlease (what he was prev on) with half nutramigen and he still would not take it. I then tried 1/2 scoop nutramigen and the rest of the gentlease and he took it but not as normal. Does anyone know how to adjust a baby to a new formula like this or has anyone else had simlar problems. Any help would be greatly appricated. Thanks :)

we were given that yesterday for our son (1 year old) and he was so sick refused all forms of liquid only having 8oz in 36 hours, we went online and found that SMA the milk he normally uses done an SMA LF one and that it tastes the same as normal SMA, we contacted our doctor and today they have given us a prescription for the SMA LF xx

MY 5 week old was put on Nutragimen 2 weeks ago. He wont eat it either. Same, about 1/2 ounce then usually ends up spttin git up. I have been told to mix it wih Similac sensitive but have not tried it yet. I mix it with breast milk and he will take it, but he thinks about it for a while before finishing. talk to your Dr. about Similac.

or little girl had major issues with both regular formula and soy...she was absolutely miserable!!! (she also has reflux) she just turned 7 months on the 10th and she has been on nutramigen since she was about 3 months. at first she didnt seem to like it (have you smelled it....its gross) some people recommend mixing old and new formulas for your baby to get use to them...but where as she was having issues with both types of other formulas we switched with no mixing. she has been a COMPLETELY different baby since on the nutramigen...happy, laughing..before that she was always constipated and always upset....if the nutramigen doesnt work similac makes a hypoallergenic formula as well...alimentum. good luck :-)
